Mattcube, you buy SO many video games. I'm jealous. But do you ever play them all thoroughly?
I wish I could get through them all; I really, really do. I just have this huge passion for games, and I want to give so many of them a chance at winning my heart. It sounds cheesy, but there are some games; ones like Ocarina of Time, Knights of the Old Republic, or Metal Gear Solid, that will stick with me forever, and are just "magical" experiences. Unfortunately, most of the time, I only manage to get an hour or two into a game before I set it aside for something else. But for every 10 games or so that I put in the backlog, one will just GRAB me, and I'll play until the end.
But, to answer simply, no, a lot of them, unfortunately, get put in the good ol' backlog. That said, right now I'm rocking unemployment
and so after four-five hours of putting out job applications each day, I'm left with 20 hours of nothing, as my family is working and my girlfriend is away in New York, and my best friend has a busy summer on his hands. So, I've been able to chip away at that backlog for the last few weeks.
And I'm lucky enough to have parents that support my hobby/passion, a girlfriend who deals with it and will listen to my rants and raves, and a best friend who shares my feelings. So, about once a week, I can head to my buddy's place, and we'll stay up till 5am passing the controller back and forth in a game one of us just got; or we'll toy with an old favorite; or we'll hop online and co-op together. Good times.

And great deals help A LOT, too!
Today, Best Buy has a "buy Zelda and another 3DS game, get a $25GC". On top of that, Blazblue is having an unadvertised discount to $25. So, I bought the two games for $65 total, and got a $25GC.
I then pricematched the Toys R Us deal, where you can get LA Noire and Mortal Kombat for $50 total. In addition, I used the $25GC that I just got, to bring the price on this transaction to $25.
I then had an @GAMER coupon for $20 off Dragon Age 2. DA2 is on sale for $35 this week; so I got it for $15.
EDIT: Just to clarify; by "rocking unemployment", I mean that I just graduated last month and can't find work. I don't want anyone to assume I'm sucking from the taxpayers' teet to buy video games, lol.
