Gotta love 24hr Walmart stores! :D:D:D

>.<

Should have thought of that, but I didn't. Now I have to wait until I'm off work and sneak into Gamestop right before closing to get my copy. Kicker is I'm off to Walmart now to find a meal.

My last 'purchase' was paying
hdr_citi_never_sleeps.gif
&
ChaseNew.gif
for things I already have.

p.s. Don't forget to go on Nintendo and register Zelda for a free copy of the soundtrack

Holy crap, went through the same darn thing a couple weeks ago! Left Livonia around 3 and didn't get home until almost 7 on a Thursday! It was ridiculous for what should have been a 2 hour trip at most. 39 is closed at 96, 75 is closed at 696. It's completely ridiculous and I felt the exact same way when I got home. :)

Honestly, on the way home, I was thinking it would have almost been worth spending an extra $100(edu discount) to drive 20 min to the Apple Store in Novi and skip the terrible trip.

Luckily for us, it was a straight I-75 trip north/south so there wasn't anything closed or detoured that effected us. Both going and coming we ran into areas were the speed went down to 50 or as slow as a parking lot crawl, but saw very little actual construction. There was one point heading south where we went from 70 to a near dead stop (way too quickly for my tastes) that was unrelated to construction as far as we could tell. I don't qualify for Apple Edu pricing so it was either Best Buy (small sale discount) or Micro Center. I estimate that we only used about $20 worth of gas so I think the trip was worth it for the initial $200 off.

Was going to get my father a Torch for father's day, but apparently there's no Blackberry Internet Service where he frequents in China, so I ended up getting him an HTC Desire Z.

Started a subscription with MOG music service. Computer streaming almost every album under the sun at 320kbps. They also have an iOS app that uses lower resolution.

Mattcube, you buy SO many video games. I'm jealous. But do you ever play them all thoroughly?

I wish I could get through them all; I really, really do. I just have this huge passion for games, and I want to give so many of them a chance at winning my heart. It sounds cheesy, but there are some games; ones like Ocarina of Time, Knights of the Old Republic, or Metal Gear Solid, that will stick with me forever, and are just "magical" experiences. Unfortunately, most of the time, I only manage to get an hour or two into a game before I set it aside for something else. But for every 10 games or so that I put in the backlog, one will just GRAB me, and I'll play until the end.

But, to answer simply, no, a lot of them, unfortunately, get put in the good ol' backlog. That said, right now I'm rocking unemployment :( and so after four-five hours of putting out job applications each day, I'm left with 20 hours of nothing, as my family is working and my girlfriend is away in New York, and my best friend has a busy summer on his hands. So, I've been able to chip away at that backlog for the last few weeks.

And I'm lucky enough to have parents that support my hobby/passion, a girlfriend who deals with it and will listen to my rants and raves, and a best friend who shares my feelings. So, about once a week, I can head to my buddy's place, and we'll stay up till 5am passing the controller back and forth in a game one of us just got; or we'll toy with an old favorite; or we'll hop online and co-op together. Good times.

And great deals help A LOT, too! :p

Today, Best Buy has a "buy Zelda and another 3DS game, get a $25GC". On top of that, Blazblue is having an unadvertised discount to $25. So, I bought the two games for $65 total, and got a $25GC.

I then pricematched the Toys R Us deal, where you can get LA Noire and Mortal Kombat for $50 total. In addition, I used the $25GC that I just got, to bring the price on this transaction to $25.

I then had an @GAMER coupon for $20 off Dragon Age 2. DA2 is on sale for $35 this week; so I got it for $15. :D

EDIT: Just to clarify; by "rocking unemployment", I mean that I just graduated last month and can't find work. I don't want anyone to assume I'm sucking from the taxpayers' teet to buy video games, lol.

Mattcube next time I buy video games I am going to ask if you know of any deals because you seem amazing at finding deals. Don't worry about the unemployment it happens. I spent 3 months before I finally settled at the Census after I graduated in 2009. Eventually ended up at Apple and now law school so it will all come together in the end.

and some other supplies for my month and a half in Europe. I used my credit card so much in the past week that it broke. I had to order a replacement via express so that cost me another $15 to get it before I leave.

I just had my new ipad2 handed to me at work. Patience is a virtue. At home my computer with Itunes. Must.wait.3hrs.before.home.

Argh! Somebody prove bending of time and space quick! Hey, it is possible, i googled this option and this option so it must be true.

Now, the world is moving in slowmotion, a continuing deja vu, trapped in a wormhole i am.:(

Congrats! I was just about to post the very same thing

15 days after I ran around every Nike store here trying to find those with no luck, and picking up the Nike Free TR's instead, found these today as well. Here they are, making my Lunarglides and Free TRs look decidedly drab
