haha i see you put them zip ties to good use huh.. haha

quick question, where did you get that wall mount for that samsung monitor? I think is the same one i have.

They're monoprice wall mounts. $4 with free 1 day shipping within SoCal.

Also, once I started buying fans, it's like I can't stop haha. I keep finding amazing deals on them through Amazon and eBay so consequently, I have another Noctua NF-S12B coming in on Tuesday. Gotta figure out where to put it now in my tiny case haha

My inner child wants a subaru. Love seeing these cars pop up in threads to tell me what is out there. I'm saving up for a BMW/Audi though. Still I am tempted!

I've always been a Honda girl but dang this Subie is nice! My mom asked me why I didn't buy another Honda. My answer was, "Mom, Honda doesn't make anything I want." That couldn't be more true. Civic is everywhere and 2012 models don't look great, accord is a boat and no m/t for 4 door.

Need to tint the windows but will have to wait since I'll be paying for this soon:

Did you take on an empty stomach? Certain vitamins make me vomit if I don't eat first.
First couple of times, I took them on an empty stomach. Then I started eating beforehand. Same results. I just assumed my body was that out of whack lol. But in the end, I couldn't take the nausea and indigestion. :(

I can't speak for Audi since I'm too lazy to go look, but have you built a BMW online lately?

A bottom-rung 328i starts at $36,500, and for the nearly $40k "luxury" car that it is, it comes with literally nothing standard that it should:

--no HID headlights ($900 option)
--no leather ($1,450 option)
--no sunroof ($1,050 option)
--no premium stereo ($875 option)
--no heated seats ($500 option)
--no lumbar support unless you shell out for the $3,100 premium package
--no keyless entry unless you again shell out for the premium package (we will assume we are talking about intelligent key with pushbutton start here)
--no metallic colored paint (give me a ****ing break, every color besides plain black and plain white is a ridiculous $550. Not special tinted clearcoats or tricoat paints, just regular old metallic paints that have been around for decades for free from everyone else. What an insult to the kool-aid drinking consumer)

It'll also set you back a ridiculous $3,100 for the technology package to get navigation.

But you CAN start off with one of their "lines" for an additional $2000-$2500 which includes such luxurious features as an "Oyster-colored signature key fob with silver accent", LOL.

When you think of a luxury car, aren't the first things that come to mind the luxury amenities, like leather, heated seats, HID headlights, moonroof, and premium sound? Well, you get exactly none of it for $40k with BMW. Add it all in as options which have pretty steep prices and you have a bottom rung BMW that still costs over $50,000 just to get everything that it should've had at $36k to begin with. So what are you paying $40k for?

The propeller on the hood and its notorious unreliability and 4 figure repairs.

People need to wake up and realize that BMWs are a horrendous waste of money compared to most/all other brands out there. Nor are they really exclusive when every fourth car on the road is a BMW. I see at least 20 3 series cars each and every day, no exaggeration.

BMW just has clever marketing but they quit giving a **** about building "The Ultimate Driving Machine" about 25 years ago and have been milking it ever since while crapping out mediocre cars at retarded prices because people don't know any better and will pay what they ask. I know, I've owned two of them.

I know. Hence the comment.

That would only be because you aren't in the right aspect of the business. If you own a pharmacy they are a good (but largely oversold and unnecessary) moneyspinner. But this isn't the right place for the discussion.

Hey you started it.

Independent pharmacies are a true rarity, and thus money from vitamin and OTC purchases are gobbled up for the most part by corporate chains. Pharmacists don't take the cut for that. Before you make accusatory statements stating that pharmacists line their pockets by fooling the public into taking 'unnecessary' supplements.. I would gladly PUSH for multivitamin use especially considering the poor diet and the preponderance of alcohol, drug, and tobacco abuse here today.

That said, for those pharmacists that actually OWN independent pharmacies, I'd encourage the mark up on vitamins then, if it allows them to survive in a market with the likes of CVS, walgreens and rite aid pushing for numbers numbers numbers instead of patient care and medication therapy management.

Sorry for the lengthy post but you can't accuse me or my colleagues in my profession without a good fight. All we do is put ourselves through 6+ years of school, not including residencies and fellowships, and incur mountains of debt and stay up late nights to study...all to help improve public health and improve outcomes.

and @puma - I will likely never get either of those cars.. at least it will like 50 years before I can haha.
I wasn't aware of all this detail. Thank you so much for the post. I've always admired the BMWs that have crossed my path, but was not aware that such luxury does not come baseline. That sucks.

No problem, if it came baseline as one would expect, I'd say the upper-$30s wouldn't be a bad price point at all. Or even if half of that was included.

$1 USB adaptor port for the Samsung Galaxy S3. Best $1 ever spent especially how I'm able to add just about any USB device, memory card reader, mouse/keyboard and have it fully work on my phone.

It really is a shame; I can't shake the feeling that Sony will let this product fade into oblivion in the coming years. They showed nearly zero support for this system at E3; and from it's February launch to Christmas, there will only be a handful (if not less) of decent games releasing for the system.

When the console was announced way back when, I was thrilled to see that Sony still had it - they created a breathtakingly beautiful handheld, crammed it with top-shelf hardware and a fantastic screen, and fixed nearly every problem customers and critics had with the original PSP. This could have been a real contender as the saving grace of the core gamer. I love my mobile games as much as the next person; but I hope to always have the option to play big-budget, long-form, first-release games on a handheld; and Sony had created the perfect system for just that. It's a shame they don't seem to know how to support it.

All that said, it has a few games I want to play, and so I'm very excited to finally have one. Moving on... ;p

And while picking up games for my Vita, I used a coupon to grab Starfox 64 3D, too.

And finally, I also bought three tickets last night to Moonrise Kingdom to see with my mom and sister. I had very low expectations, as Anderson's films don't do much for me. But it was an utterly magical film. So much character, and hilarious from beginning to end. Blu Ray buy on Day One, for sure.

iPhone 4 - 8gb black for another family member. they needed a phone asap and could care less about what they were using.

i3860_lg_xpression_productshot.jpg

for another family member, also.

at&t wants $36 to 'upgrade' (aka change SIM cards) each line and spending only $150 on hardware ... $72 seems like a lot just to "upgrade". I don't understand why I'd be motivated to sign a 2 year commitment if I had to pay $72 dollars.

Anyways, so the guy gave me 2 iPhone ballistic cases ($35 each in store), 50% off a car charger and a free sim card for my iPad (which unfortunately didn't work in my verizon ipad but I used it for something else). in the past, AT&T has waived upgrade fees. Not sure if they'll do it - but if they do, even better. I guess there are some perks from buying in store...

Lovely mate.

Are you enjoying it?

It was such a hard choice either the Sedan or Hatch. i like both so much

I absolutely love it! Wish I could have afforded the "limited" package but I just couldn't swing it. There is always next time, eh?

I have a thing for white cars and originally wanted wrblue or red but this one was available, affordable and they wanted my trade. Sweet.

Hatches are definitely a soft spot in my heart.
Had a Honda Fit and Honda Si hatch previously.
(both white lol)
So many people have to wait months for their wrx. I didn't have the time or luxury of that so white it was! LOL

Dude that is awesome. Congrats! We were between a vita and a 3ds xl for the house. Brother pre-ordered a 3ds xl for me for my birthday a month ago though. Got a few more weeks.

Starfox is definitely on the list of games to get.

BTW I love the look of the zelda 3ds. I am sure they will release one for the 3ds xl but I am impatient. Have been waiting for a larger screen for the 3ds for a while.
