A new case of my Non-Mac systems. One firewall and one VMware/ESXi box
Now both boards will go into one big case. Hope to reduce the mess of cables and add some beauty into my IT corner.

Got some GearPods for waterproof modular storage of emergency gear. These things are awesome. They're also food grade if you wanted to purify water in them.

Which OS are you running on top of ESXi? I tought this software was used only in large server farms where hardware abstraction is desired...

New ultralight tube to take up less space in the new, smaller saddlebag.

Nothing fancy, yet. Mostly console based server version of Ubuntu, a sandbox for my firewall to test new version. But with the hardware passthrough I want to see if I can get windows 7 or 8 and maybe even OSX running under ESXi. OSX might not work; would be a virtual hackintosh. I'm sure it's prevented.

I could use the VMWare server version but that require a host system; which I did before. The free ESXi is right now more a learning. And hey, it looks really nice to manage virtual machines from my iPad. VMware Labs have a virtual appliance which allows that.
