I just noticed a thread that said 2 million on the first day of sales. Pretty cool. My wife was talking about updating her iPhone 4 yesterday. This coming weekend she wants to go to the Apple Store to see it hands-on. I told her the store will probably be crowded.
Haha. Crowded is right. I wish I could've seen the colors in person before preordering, but I'm sure I'll like the white I chose anyway. The black looks pretty sexy this time, but it's nice to have a change. I really wanted a white iPhone 4, and I didn't upgrade to 4S. So, I'm looking forward to white and quite looking forward to a speed increase. The lack of responsiveness of my 4 has been irritating lately. Definitely not the responsiveness it used to have.
I preordered from AT&T on Friday. No idea when it'll be delivered, unfortunately. And even though my info is on the account as owning this phone and I'm paying for the new one, they'll only deliver to the AT&T account billing address, which is my father's address since he gets a corporate discount. SUch a pain how they change the rules from year to year. When the 3G was released, I was at the Apple store on release day and they wouldn't give me the phone until my father physically went to an AT&T store. For the iPhone 4 launch, I was at the Apple Store and had no problem.
I even considered transferring the billing info to my name and losing the corporate discount, but then I'd lose the grandfathered data plan. What a PITA.
Also bought this breathable dry sack for clothing. 5-liter size.
Smith & Wesson Rescue knife. Has a glass breaker and seatbelt cutter at the butt on the handle.
