Pre-ordered a Paperwhite (Paperweight? What an unfortunate name...) back in September, but my card was officially charged today, so I'll call it a purchase. Should be getting my shipping number soon. :)

White 64GB WiFi iPad "3" a black DODOCase to go with it. Samsung 830 Series 128GB SSD, 16 GB of RAM, external enclosure and a new car charger. I also decided to keep my iPhone 4S and wait until the "5S" to upgrade so I picked up a lifeproof case (not pictured).

I went from a iPhone 4 to a One X. The phone was great, but just never could get comfortable with Android so I came back to the iPhone 5.

Same conclusion I made as well. Android doesn't compare to iOS, especially in mail - web browsing - typing and so on :) iOS might be boring compared, but it works like second nature.

rocketfish clear case

had the otterbox but i find the clear case much better! shows off its sleekness.

Nice trip to IKEA for some much needed additions to the new house.

I so miss Ikea now living in NZ! I swear I kitted out my entire first house in the UK from Ikea for less than what is cost me to buy a single tallboy and sofa in NZ, and that was from one of the cheaper stores! Sadly IKEA will never be allowed in NZ as it will slaughter all the other ripoff furniture stores.

I've always wondered what HTC phones were like. The last HTC I had was the old G1. Now I have the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G. It's nice, but it looks like HTC has a really "fresh" appearance, if you know what I mean.
HTC hands down. Samsung phones (the latest Android devices) are solid, but compared to HTC phones they feel so cheap.

Purchased the iPhone 5 Dock from the lightning dock website

Upgrades for my 2010 13'' MacBook Pro. I got the 256GB Crucial M4 for $159.99 off of Newegg with a promotion code and the 8GB 1067 MHz DDR3 RAM kit for $38.58 off of Amazon. It was just under $210 for both taxed and shipped.

I had one of the bean bag bottom lap trays. But the "beans" (foam pellets) compress and then it just is flat, not angle at all, Also not comfortable, so I got the below.

Really great lap tray...

Thanks to lightning, I'm done with docks. This is my new alarm clock and bedroom radio. Cyber Acoustic CA-3206, AP Express, and an old iPad. Airplay streaming from now on for me.

For those looking into Airplay Speakers. Low end iHome and Altec Lansings start around $150. The AP express and CA-3206's were $150 plus:

1) I get the benefit of a range extended wifi network (full bars wifi in the room now)
2) The Cyber Acoustic 2.1 comes with standalone bass and sound at least as good as any midrange dedicated Airplay speakers I've heard.
3) I can change speakers anytime without the added "airplay" expense.

Overall, pretty happy with this arrangement.

Edit: unpacked and setup.
