I find some old-style sunglasses very attractive.
Two Fenix LD41 (newest model), one for me and one for my father, with the following features:
- IPX-8 protected (2 meters for 30 minutes)
- Robust lens & aluminum case (survives a drop from 1-3 meters)
- Requires only 4xAA batteries (do not use alkaline), so i can use AA lithium or AA Ni-MH batteries.
- 520 lumens. I think the strongest Mag-Lite LED has 134 lumens (and is much larger)
- Much smaller and less weight, compared to the Mag-Lite models.
- Efficient electronics & newest LED generation.
- Much better reflector, compared to the Mag-Lite models.
- Long runtime.

Yes, just a flashlight with a modern LED. IMHO, the best in this size, with this usability and with this scratch, dust & water resistance. YMMV.
