That is ridiculous! Where you got them so cheap? You definitely need good amp for those.

A store in a nearby city was going out of business, and one of the employees there gave me them for that price. Anyone have any ideas in regards to an amp? Im thinking that maybe I just keep the M-Audio av40s I have with my iMac, and use the B&Ws in the living room with my LED tv. I have an Onkyo receiver I can get from my job for a good price, but that would be for the living room. I have no clue about what to get to hook them up with the iMac.

I think the Coffee gadgets in your house cost about the same as I'm about to drop on a new iMac and then some!

When I get the HG-one grinder in January...you're right on the mark.

What the hell. As someone said... I now have all the money I need as long as I don't need to buy anything (like food!) for the rest of my life! :D

Make sure you use soft filtered water. If you can plumb it into the house, I would suggest getting a water softener and carbon block filter setup. If you have hard water going into that nice shinny machine, it will scale up in one month and ruin your machine. For the amount of money you spent on that machine, I would get a nice water filter setup. I got this setup from Chris Coffee all for $110. The filter should last around 6 months, depending on how hard your water is.

Currently, I'm using a Rancilio Rocky grinder.

But soon (somewhere in January) I'll be getting a pre-oredered HG-one. As you are obviously an espresso freak, take a look at this grinder http://www.hg-one.com The price is insane, but wtf!

It is so beautiful, and if you read a little about it, it should be a primo grinder!:D

EDIT: The machine I'm getting has a built-in water softener which you clean and re-charge every two months. But I'll look at your suggestion anyway. We have soft water here which, along with the built-in softener, should be OK. Also, my machine is not plumbed into the water supply, I just hand fill the water reservoir.

Nice! but noooo waaay am I hand cranking espresso beans at 5am. Never. That would give me a heart attack. I will stick with the electronic type of grinder.

That's exactly when I will be cranking that mother. I have myself convinced that it won't be a big deal. Once you get the cranking process down it takes about 25 seconds to crank out a double shot.

Nothing to it!!

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.:p

Far away from liberals
I got a Zebralight H600F headlamp for closeup electronic work. I've had many others, but this thing kicks butt in brightness and quality of beam.

I'm a sucker for clearance tables. Found this at Future Shop for $9. Never hurts to have an extra 1700maH of power on hand.

Decided to give this estate a shot and see how it compares to the Hualalai estate.

100% Kona, one is Peaberry and the other is a mix of the top four grades of Extra Fancy, Fancy, Number 1 and Peaberry beans.
