Just ordered this off amazon so I can finally get audio out from my set top box without having to play it through my monitors horrible speakers. Should now be able to tolerate watching TV in my room :p

I'm not expecting anything amazing but as long as it's decent sound quality I'll be happy :)

I own and use several Neet products and they all perform very well. I bet you will be happy with it

Ok, just curious, why does everyone post pics from the internet? Can't you take a picture and upload the actual thing?

Either way, I went shopping today for groceries, and here's lunch.

I also bought a new car. It's not my last purchase, but it's my last significant purchase. Lovely car, just need to get out and put an Apple sticker on it :D.

I don't know about anyone else, but most of my purchases are made online, so to post anything interesting whilst it is my literal "last purchase", I can't take a picture as it often hasn't arrived yet. Otherwise all my posts would be of petrol or alcohol... I do like a good hydrocarbon :p

My new daily driver:

I'm sorry to hear that

Share your thoughts? I'd value your opinion :) If I upgraded, i'd be coming from a 2010 15" MBP

Well I tried the Mac Mini/iPad Mini combo but it failed miserably for me
Went with this retina for under $1500 as my main machine. For the price it was a no brainer for a machine I plan to use for a few years (usually upgrade every 3 years).

After a half a day, I'm happy I spend the extra money and didn't opt for another MBA.

This is a true beauty of a machine
I don't play the waiting game for the "next machine coming"
So happy I made the switch back to a laptop (desktop is just not for me)

We're talking on 2 different threads lol. Where'd you find a 256GB for under 1500?

I buy stuff online but I just wait until it comes in and then take a picture.

I know what a shoe looks like. It's just more interesting to see it sitting in someone's dirty room or out on the trail.

12 month membership

Bought it at best buy over the weekend, it was $35 compared to the regular 12 month for $60.

Just joking...this is my favorite Android device actually. Loved the hardware but I just couldn't deal with micro-managing the battery life. I also looked past the fact it didn't have LTE.

Can't wait to see the next gen Nexus...that's going to be the one to purchase.
Yeah got it for a good price on CL so I can't complain. I'm using this on a corporate line so anything is better than the 4S I was using.

But I've used the GSM Galaxy Nexus extensively and I've been told the N4 has better battery life so we'll see. So far I'm enjoying it immensely and is a breath of fresh air from my other Apple/iOS devices.

From someone that owns a Wii U, Wii, PS3, 360, Vita, 3DS, DS, GBA, PSP, Xbox, PS2, GC, PS1, N64, SNES, Megadrive, and a Atari... I say the Wii U is NOT worth it at all in its current state. There are no games worth playing.

Keep the PS3. There is no reason to part with it. Keep the Wii, that backward compatibility is golden, and I played GC games on it more than Wii games. At the moment I have Wii U, PS3 and 360 plugged in. I've played my Wii U like three times in the week it came out and havn't touched it since. Sucks because I am a Nintendo fan. If you ever get a U, which you more than likely will, keep the Wii plugged in for retro.

I have quite a lot of older consoles and such it my living quarters are rather tight. Decided to keep my PS3 after playing Red Dead Redemption once again. Great game and hard to put down.

Still have my N64 hooked up but soon will swap it out for the old Dreamcast for a while. Just had the urge to play Bad Fur Day and a few other N64 classics that may never be seen again in a legal fashion.

I don't do emulators.
