it was pretty good not excellent thou, it had potential
it dragged on alittle in the beginning, the ending was the best part and they should have showed more of the aliens

HP G6-2320DX
Needed a basic laptop (not for me) and got it for about $320. Even though I have my 2010 MBP 13", I'm really impressed with this one. It's certainly no Mac but it can do all the things I use my MBP for. Basically what I'm saying is - if my computer died all of a sudden and I didn't have enough money to get it fixed/replaced with another Mac, I'd seriously consider this one myself. It's got better specs than my MBP (granted, it's from 2010 :p ) Only bad part is Windows 8 but mostly fixed it by installing the old start menu back.

Well done HP.

Yesterday was a long 12+hr workday to end a long week. Was too tired to go out, but decided to splurge a little bit as a treat:

Ducky mechanical keyboard with MX Cherry Reds:

Nice pick up! Not just the keyboard lol. I haven't tried out the reds for an extended period of time, but Ducky's seem pretty cool. Poker boards look really nice too if you ever get a chance to check those out. I ended selling off the HHKB and realforce 103 for an 87UB. You should consider a tenkeyless keyboard because it really is much more comfortable for gaming.

I plastered this in a couple other threads, but I recently bought Notes Plus to take notes on my iPad. Works wonderfully and I wrote a page long mini review of the app.

Just ordered this off amazon so I can finally get audio out from my set top box without having to play it through my monitors horrible speakers. Should now be able to tolerate watching TV in my room :p

I'm not expecting anything amazing but as long as it's decent sound quality I'll be happy :)

Nice! I've always wanted to work my way up to a Gibson, but alas I'm still plucking away with my Epiphone :p

Thanks! Not sure what yours is like, but I've played some GREAT Epiphones...that name is not an automatic qualifier of the playability of the guitar. If it feels good, it feels good. Simple as that.

Oh I have no real complaints about my Epiphone Les Paul Standard. It's a great first or even second guitar. Growing up admiring the Gibson however, an upgrade was always on the cards once I became competent enough :p

Ended up selling the 15". It was just too big for me. Power was also going to waste. Sold the 15" and picked up a retina 13" for an absolutely smoking deal. Also picked up a Magsafe 2 adapter so my old chargers won't go to waste!

Craigslist haha. I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger buying from apple (edu pricing was 1400+tax). Best buy had a couple of open boxes for 1280 but still. That's pretty expensive when you factor in that the retina 13" is almost the same as the air (excluding the display) and that's being sold for 899 refurb on apples eBay account.
