Picked up a Jawbone UP 2.0. I also got one for my fiancée. I know they won't magically get us into better shape, but its a fun motivator. I used to be a pretty big gamer, so stuff like this helps keep it fun.

Anyone else have one?

Heavily debated on getting this vs. a Nike+ Fuel Band and ended up going that route. Either way I doubt you'll be disappointed with the purchase, solid product.

GL with your fitness goals! ;)

Got a great deal on an ipad mini 16gb slate wifi for $245 total. I wouldn't have picked one up other wise since I was holding out for a retina.. but a kindle paperwhite was on my to buy list. Figured why not drop some more and get the mini.

Picked up the usual protection accessories. Powersupport HD antiglare, wrapsol back skin, and I got this nice black smart cover replica from ebay. It has the metal hinges just like the larger version for the full size ipads. Thought it was a cool accessory to get.

Where'd you get the flyknits for $86?

Buddy i work with, works at one of those specialized running stores and got them for me with his discount. I actually got a second pair too, i was contemplating selling or getting an in-store credit to purchase a different pair.

I ran in the newly steam fitted shoes yesterday and got some little blisters, hopefully that stops.

Are they lighter than the Free's?

Best you can get in my opinion.

Where did you get these??

Good to hear that! I'm really looking forward to test it, from what i have heard the extreme milk chocolate is delicious :D

The coasters were ordered on shutterfly.com, inspired by this article and the instructions in it :

Sorry that i didn't post the source in the first place but i was not sure if it was okay to put a link like that here since it directs to another website. I had a promo code, otherwise shipping to Europe would have been too much for me.

I'll be doing that very soon, thanks for the link! How's the quality?

Wow that's a really good deal. I'm a Nike enthusiast and I have the three pair of the Frees but I want some flyknits.

You could pick up a used Wii for a lot less. Most who bought a Wii U had to give up of what I call a Swiss Army Knife of classic gaming.

It's one reason I will never sell mine since the newer Wii consoles that were designed to lay flat and often come packaged with New Super Mario Bros or Mario Kart Wii (or if you don't care about the older white console) have no GameCube support.

I happen to have one of the best that has GameCube support along with the far wider support for Virtual Console games.

I keep thinking of moving up to the Wii U for the exclusives since the HDMI port on my PS3 is acting up (tried various cables) but I then would also have to pick up a GameCube which a well taken care of console is very rare.

The only thing stopping me is Skyrim on my PS3 since my late 2010 13" MacBook Pro just would not do the game justice and the possibility of GTA5 as well (guilty pleasure)...

I love my classic games and have well over $400 alone invested just on the Wii Virtual Console alone and not entirely sure if transferring them all to a Wii U system is worth it all since I can play them all as it is.

My Sony Bravia is amazing on upscaling with absolute zero lag over component so timing critical games like the old NES Punch-Out!! work perfectly.

Long story short, I'm undecided if parting with my PS3 is worth it since I've also invested plenty into it with 35 retail games and nearly as much on PSN (along with my Vita too). Just as I invested so much in the App Store I refuse to part with my iPhone 4S despite using it on T-Mobile.

So I'm in a "pick your poison" situation.

Nice choice!!!

From someone that owns a Wii U, Wii, PS3, 360, Vita, 3DS, DS, GBA, PSP, Xbox, PS2, GC, PS1, N64, SNES, Megadrive, and a Atari... I say the Wii U is NOT worth it at all in its current state. There are no games worth playing.

Keep the PS3. There is no reason to part with it. Keep the Wii, that backward compatibility is golden, and I played GC games on it more than Wii games. At the moment I have Wii U, PS3 and 360 plugged in. I've played my Wii U like three times in the week it came out and havn't touched it since. Sucks because I am a Nintendo fan. If you ever get a U, which you more than likely will, keep the Wii plugged in for retro.

New Anti Surge Boards

Mounted the first one this morning...Screwed and glued...The other one for the bedroom can wait a day or so. These may just trip out due to our dirty supple, and I though they were re-settable....they aren't so once they trip they are garbage...Cheap though so I guess you get what you pay for.
