I arrive a day early to prepare for the celebrations as I am the best man. Staying one night at Caesars comped. Then regular Mandalay Bay the next night, comped again. Weekend have suites at theHOTEL at Mandalay Bay for everyone. Then I leave a day late, staying at Caesars again.

Caesars was expensive for the weekend. Using my Amex and their fine hotel and resorts I got suites at theHOTEL for 220 including early check in at noon, free upgraded room if available, $80 in free food per day, $100 spa credit and a late check out of 4pm. Good deal for a friday and saturday night.

A new cabinet to hold my HDD recorder, BRD and ATV on top, with shelves inside to store 3D glasses, etc. Replacing an ancient large hi-fi style stand.

I may get one of those for my Mac Mini Server and Drobo to live in, along with other server related stuff ;)

Ordered this yesterday. Can't wait for it to get here!

Just picked up a mint condition, boxed 16GB Nexus 7 for £95. Chuffed to bits with it & am glad to finally get my mitts back on Android again!

Gah! I've been trying to find one since they came out. How is it so far? Nice?

I checked Best Buy's website almost daily. It fits great, I barely notice that it's on my wrist. Haven't had it long enough to check the stats just yet. We'll see how it's pedometer compares to the one in the Galaxy S4.

Uh-mazing hotel that is!! Stayed there when the wife and I did a road trip around the west coast on a holiday from the UK. Went back a year later when we got married in the Grand Canyon and took my folks there. They didn't see why we were paying for that hotel and not a cheaper one, that is until we walked up and then took them too there suite and they went

Have fun!

Samsung Galaxy S4 Battery and Charger

Came in from Korea thanks to eBay. The ironic part is that my room is poorly lit so I had to take this photo with my HTC One because the Galaxy S4 sucks at taking low lights!

Deciding between both phones but leaning towards the S4. Which is your favorite and how do they compare in battery life? (I'll be ordering with stock android from the play store on the 26th)

I actually like both equally but for different reasons. The answer I always give between the two is...

If this is your first Android device and you had to pick between the two, I suggest the HTC One. As I have said in other forums, the HTC One is a great device right out of the box. It’s fast, smooth, and a little more familiar if you are coming from the iPhone.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 on the other hand, in my own personal experience (I know everyone is different), was frustrating and laggy and I have been using Android devices since Eclair. However, after rooting, and flashing a custom ROM such as MDOB or GoldenEye (made by the same ROM chef), the experience is much better and is on par if not better than the HTC One. So it’s just a matter of how much time you are willing to invest in tweaking your devices!

In terms of battery life, they are pretty equal but the S4's battery is replaceable. If you carry an extra battery with you, you will probably never have to worry about battery life no matter how much of a heavy user you are.
