That's awesome!
I settled on the D5100 for that screen, as I planned to use the camera for a lot of video too.

Got this for myself as a birthday gift. Would not buy this normally otherwise, as Billingham bags are $$$. Luckily, it was at a discount since I got it off eBay. I have a timbuk2 snoop that is larger and a little too casual, so this smaller bag will complement it nicely.

Nice looking bag. I got myself a Booq top loader. Nice looking bag but only ever get one lens in it.

Cool. Yeah I have considered top loaders in the past, but could not get over how they look like bicycle seats :p . Booq is a great brand though. InCase has some nice stylish bags too.

Got this as a gift from gift cards..can't wait to get it!
Olympus VF-1..pic is basically what my set up will look like.

Yes sorry it was 55-200mm.

Trouble with this deal was neither lens was VR, and I really thought it was important to have. Especially as I don't have a tripod or monopod yet.

Yeah, if you plan on shooting in low light, then the VR will end up really being useful. But if you're in good light, it means that you can up your shutter speed and the VR won't be so important anymore.

I understand. Also, it's not a big deal, but it bothers me that you referred to it as HDD space when referring to your rMBP, which doesn't have an HDD.

Don't let things like this bother you. People likely know what he means and you don't need to correct him. ;)

Last purchase: paid my large deductible to homeowner's for the pipe burst of 2013.

It's ok, I'm a little bit ridiculous

Also decided to give this a try, on sale for half price, and a coupon code brought it down to $14.99.

Don't forget the garmin $50.00 rebate!

Edit looks to be for the 500 only

Just came back from the mall. Books a million had these on sale, and I saw that they dropped in price gradually from $16.99 lol.

Considering going back to buy a couple more since I really like omnicleanz.

Garmin nüvi 42.

Since I drive a standard shift, I just couldn't imagine using my phone GPS anymore. If I get a text, I have to reach and cancel it out. There isn't a place on the dash I can put it to easily view or adjust, so it was just better to get a standalone one so I wouldn't have to worry about it.

(Lol, and the GPS screenshot below is in a location near me).
