Ah...good. Another one hooked on espresso!

I hope you enjoy your new machine...espresso is the ne plus ultra of coffee...glad you are enjoying it!:D

LOL thanks, have been seeing your coffee related purchases here, very impressive! At the minute we are still milk based drinkers with our coffee, but I think thats down to never having decent black coffee before so never wanting to touch espresso. But I have to say, the smell of just the espresso coming out of this machine is mmmmm so don't think it'll be long before we try dropping the milk :)

Sold my iPhone 5 on craigslist and bought a GoPhone Nokia Lumia 520 for $99 at the AT&T store. You get a lot for $99 sans contract. :p

I prefer it straight, but just enjoy it any way it works for you. All that matters is that it tastes good...no rules about taking it black.

You might enjoy the discussion on the "Espresso Enthusiast" thread. A bunch of coffee freaks, and a nice, friendly environment. :D

or you can do what I used to do and completely ruin the espresso by pouring 2 shots of the espresso into my regular coffee to give it some zip.

BY far the best computer i ever had. I remember having this computer way afer the PowerPC era (i think it was 2009), and still kicking some asses all the way. Good investment and i hope the graphical issues is not happeningf because of a dying graphics card :(...

Just an update: it now won't give me any image at all. Booted okay for a day after I got it, though.
I can now hear the startup chime but then the screen remains black.

Therefore, I purchased a new logic board. It could also be the PRAM battery, though (it was dead already but the machine would still boot), if I look at some posts I've read on other forums, but I guess it wouldn't boot at all if that were the case.
Should be here tomorrow.

I just feel like it's a too nice computer to just not keep it alive :) it really is in good condition for a 10-year-old laptop: no wear on the keyboard, palmrests and trackpad and no keys pressed into the display. A few scratches and a dent on the outside, but you can't have it all, right? :)

A big purchase - mostly because my RX300 broke down as I was driving on a busy freeway. It was scary.

This is my new ride though!! Acura RSX. I was on a serious budget because of wedding plans etc :p

It came with this Pioneer system..I jerry rigged an iPhone mount to get me by with the iphone GPS.. Yes ghetto, but it works really great!

Link to the DIY instructions here.

I popped in to Toys R Us on a Skylanders hunt, but they still don't have the last couple we need  So I foolishly went for a walk over to the Lego section....

The Dolphin Cruiser and Heartlake High are the last two sets my daughter needs, and the largest from this season. I think we'll build the boat over the next few days and save the school for Xmas.

I couldn't help but build the Grand Prix Racer as soon as I got home. Just need to put the stickers on.... The Mobile Crane Mk II is this year's flagship set and I've been looking forward to it for a while now. That should keep my son and I going for a couple of weeks as an after school project.

I saw this the other week here and was trying to convince the wife that our kid needed it......an 18month old girl :D

Oh and my last purchase - Poetic Atmosphere case for my HTC One. Love it, great case, very minimal but still protected without hiding the awesome One.
Not my pic but hey, it'll do. Got the newer model that doesn't block the IR blaster.
