Was just going to point out similar.

And for the record...I hate to be like that since you're obviously excited about the "upgrade." I'm a big car guy myself and know how exciting it is to add a new mod. I'd not have been so strong about it if it wasn't such a big deal.

Are you sure those are 8000? They look closer to 4300 or 5000. The higher the number, the more blue they get.

yes is 8000k, can't really tell some a camera phone.

8000K Bi-Xenon HID

At the total risk of sounding rude...

I see that kind of set up all the time, and I have yet to make a point of following someone home to explain how they put mine and the lives of others on the road at danger by blinding me with their poorly equipped (and likely illegal) lighting arrangement.

Do it right or stick with the halogens.

Yes I heard and read and people complain about in FJforums.com also. My truck are high off the ground and all the truck I see do the same thing. Ill upgrade to Halo in the next mod maybe.

Hate to break it to you...but all the things you're saying in defense of them are actually factors making it worse. Beam scatter like that from above is FAR worse since oncoming drivers get ALL of it as opposed to a car with a lower ride height where much of the downward scatter is missing the line of sight of oncoming drivers.

Love the idea of doing a projector upgrade - especially cause it would totally transform the look of a pretty cool ride you've got there. In the meantime, throw halogen bulbs back in there. It's dangerous.

Whilst you make a fair point he came to a post a pic of his latest purchase. Whether anyone approves or not I don't think on a forum where people most likely come to connect with fellow Apple enthusiasts, share their stuff and take some time away from their personal lives should be subjected to being scolded by a total random. Let it go.

Since I won't be upgrading, I decided to give my 3rd gen iPad a new back case and Smart Cover. My dark grey was showing signs of wear and so was the clear Belkin Snap Shield.

I always wanted HIDs, but knew of seeing other cars with them in halogen housings I should do it right. glad I did. I've had them since 2008 and love them every time I drive at night. I HATE seeing oncoming drivers with HIDs scattered everywhere. Even the ones with those cheap ebay projector headlights and the beam is way off. Do it right and you'll never look back.

here's more of my HID retrofit.

I have 4300K in my low beams. Didn't bother with the high beams because they aren't in a projector. I also got LED fog lights rather than HIDs. However, I got them because I can control the color with a remote and they looked cool haha.

4300k are just about perfect for low beams. I had a car that came with those stock in the HID's, and the light color and quality was superb.

My latest purchase - yellow film for the foglights. The car came stock with HID's, and the foglights are actually non replaceable LED's wired into a board of some sort. Driving at night with the stock HID's and fogs on would get me flashed several times as they are pretty bright. I live in a low lying area where it seems to get foggy with the slightest temperature change.

Looks good!

My 4300K look a little more yellow here than they do in person

Fog lights:

They can be on solid colors or fade/flash through the presets. I can also adjust the presets and save the custom colors. Not very practical, but fun haha.

Ps, I don't know why an Apple centric website having to do with iPhones and such have not fixed the issue of only being able to upload1 picture at a time while using a tablet or phone.

And the least exciting. Philips Norelco 1250X/40 SensoTouch 3D Electric Razor

Thank you for the merge
