I purchased the flight tickets and my girlfriend paid the hotel :p. Right now we are having the travel of our life. Here, everything is so perfect.. the weather is so nice... (Seriously, 77 degrees on day??, my god, on my city since spring until autumn we ALWAYS have at least 95 degrees...)

All the cultures and people living on this city makes it so wonderful, honestly, this city so wonderful :'(

Also, i purchased an old Macbook Pro Core2Duo from 2006. I know i know, its old, but im almost always on my office so i mostly use my desktop for work, and for $200 i couldnt resist. Decided to upgrade the RAM from 2 to 4GB and Upgraded the stock hard drive to a 120GB SSD hard drive.

Been on a crazy shopping spree! Sold my maxed out 2013 Macbook Air 13 and replaced it with the new Surface Pro 3, and then I came across the entry level Macbook Air 2013 for $600 and used $50 eBay bucks so it came down to $550 shipped! The deal was too good to resist. Now I can have the best of both worlds or give the Mac as a gift to a relative.

I got a Stages power crank for my bike. It seems to work well and has none of the troubles of the earlier build versions.

I've actually had it now for a few weeks and it has been through some er, weather events. So far so good. :)

Edit: You've probably noticed the bike isn't the cleanest - but it has had over 5000km on it in the few months I've had it.

Bought a brand new 27" iMac on Friday night! It arrives next Monday, and I'm thrilled!
The specs for it are
3.5Ghz i7
8GB RAM (will upgrade later)
1TB Fusion Drive
Nvidia Geforce GTX 780M 4GB

Also bought a Superdrive and iPhone 4 dock. C:

I think this might be my next computer purchase too. My next purchases however will be a 8' LED lighted flag whip/pole/antenna and hardware/flags for my truck.

But, my last purchases, were a few odds and ends. Really needed more USB ports, my 4-port Belkin just wasn't enough. Also, since I live 300 miles away from him, I can't use my buddies HDD to USB adapter anymore.. had to finally break down and buy my own. lol

Also got tired of going into the tool box and such in my truck every time I had to open something up, so ordered the ifixit kit specifically for electronics. Also, tools from the truck have wear and tear on them from working on truck stuff, so i needed some fresh stuff for small items.

My first cordless power drill/driver, the new Black+Decker BDCDE120C with Autosense technology. Got it do it right with a smart drill :D This Autosense feature is actually really useful. It stops the drill when it thinks the screw is flush with the surface on the first try. And by doing that it makes sure you don't strip the screw head or drive it into the material too far. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I would use a few times a year, so $80 seemed like a good deal for such a compact and powerful tool. Very grippy! Wish it came with actual drill bits, but I got a set made by Black+Decker for like $4 so it's not a big deal.

Had some Amazon gift card money left so I decided to pick up another Magpul Field Case for my Space Gray Retina iPad mini in red. Easily my most favorite cases for the iPad and iPhone. I've got a bunch of them already, but wanted a fresh new color.

Has the honeymoon period worn off yet? Still in love with that display? I'm tempted to get it, but I've heard the color reproduction is awful. That is something that has always bothered me about displays.

edit: nvm. Just saw you confirm it is the 34UM95. Not in my price range, but I'm sure it is nice! I was thinking it was the 29EA73-P

Yup the 34UM95, colour reproduction is far better than my previous AOC IPS, and better than the Apple Thunderbolt Display as well. It also has a Hardware LUT so any colour calibrations is straight to the hardware and not just a software profile.

I can honestly say using my old 27" 1440p here and there feels odd and small. I like it so darn much! The only thing that annoys me is that despite having the Power LED turned off, it turns itself on and off when the Mac Pro is in sleep mode. Although that's a tiny issue.

The 29EB93 also has a Hardware LUT for colour calibration if you wanted one with better colours.

Here are some photos of a poster with that 29EB93 from a different forum I frequent.

"Adopted" this little guy from the humane society....shouldn't be considered as a purchase though. Grey tabby (lighter than it looks like in the pics) and piercing green eyes :D . He looks like a kitten but he's actually 2 yrs old and unfortunately I'm pretty sure he's terrified and might have had an abusive past. He was the only non-social cat in the room, which is what drew me to him. Not sure if it's the norm but I was not expecting the cats to be so expensive. This guy was $60 but most of the others were $110; not that I minded paying after all they are doing something great. He's also microchipped with "petlink".

I also bought a bunch of supplies:

What a gorgeous little cat. Even if he's had an abusive past, he is being well taken care of and that is important. Cats are such wonderful members of family. Treat them well, and they will be lifelong friends.

This little beauty of a toilet kit is the Colonel Littleton No. 2 Shave Kit. The stuff from this site is all hand made of the most incredible leather...and will last several lifetimes.

The second picture is the kit opened...
