To me the idea of a smoke detector seems flawed. I mean, how often does your house start on fire that it is useful?

Are you suggesting that houses never catch fire, and people are not injured or killed in house fires? That's the reason to have it...it saves lives.

Are you aware that they had a recall, Nest Labs Recalls to Repair Nest Protect Smoke + CO Alarms Due to Failure to Sound Alert

Nest stopped selling them, fixed the issue and are now selling them again, now $30 less than before.

Ray-Ban RX5287 in black - my first pair of RX Ray-Bans. These will be my more "stylish" pair in my collection. Got mine made by the company that owns Ray-Ban and probably everything else with free lenses - glasses.com.

I got them within two days of ordering, my jaw dropped. They've done a really good job all things considered. It was my first time ordering RX lenses online, but it seems like I've measured my PD correctly, which you'll need to do.

Got a new desk from IKEA yesterday. I've been looking for a desk I liked for over a month, and finally settled on IKEA. At first I was looking for a small desk, ad found this, not realizing how big it actually is. Once I got home and built it, I realized how big it actually was and had to rearrange my room to fit it. Now that I have it in place, it looks really nice!

What exactly does that thing do?

its a programable bluetooth media knob, it has something like 8 or so programable actions.

I originally bought it to use for photoshop to do things like zoom in or effects i use frequently

It is also handy for editing videos but i received a defective unit and am returning it.

I am probably going to wait until some software updates until i buy it again

You better have the right bread slice size by the looks of it

It is a wide opening, but when you push the lever down, the slice is secured by the grate (?) coming in and squeezing the slice into position. I used it this morning and it works great.
