To begin these built-in bookshelves. Still need to finish out the face frame, trim work, crown molding, caulk and paint.

I purchased a magazine subscription to Now Playing. It's a viewers guide to Turner Classic Movies.

  • A complete movie schedule with descriptions for each film
  • Articles from TCM hosts Robert Osborne and Ben Mankiewicz
  • An alphabetical listing and genre specifications for each movie
  • Information on special programming themes, festivals and tributes
  • Hollywood history, rare photographs & a movie-themed crossword puzzle

I could type on this thing ALL day. In fact, I keep forgetting that it doesn't have a trackpad and keep trying to use it, haha! So impressed with the Clamcase Pro. I was kinda afraid because it doesn't have a backlight, but the Mini gives off light to it very nicely.

I wanted one for several years before I bought one. However, if I had known how often I would use it, I would have bought it sooner.

I bought a a Weber Genesis earlier this year, I use it all the time. I also have a cheap CharGriller with the side firebox for smoking. Maybe next year I'll replace the CharGriller with a Green Egg. I wish the off name ones were as good, I'd get one in a heartbeat for the price of the knockoffs, but I don't really hear good things about them.

What little project? I have a Galaxy Tab 3 that I am super curious to see what I can do with it and get all the Samsung bloatware off of it.

Well the project really is to fix it. It was sold to me at a good price because the previous owner ran through a problem during a rooting process. i really hope I can fix it. The note seems to be an awesome device!

My fiancee really loves hers. I think its too damn big for a phone, but a nice small tablet.

Link please if you don't mind, I love my Green Egg…

Cheers

Never mind I found it … thanks
Yeah, I accidentally ran across this thing and it looks like a dream come true. The last two all night smokes I had were interrupted by unexpected rain and I had to go out in the dark and move one of our patio umbrellas over the egg. It was raining so hard that the umbrella fell over twice, so I had to stay up most of the night to keep an eye on it.

I got a dishwasher safe cutting board today. It was less than $12 on Amazon and I wanted something I could use out by the grill and just toss in the dishwasher when I am done:

A new chimney for my Big Green Egg... should help for those summer thunderstorms that come out of nowhere:

Will this snuff the fire out like the ceramic cap?

I don't have any first hand experience with cooking on the knockoffs but after assembling an XL BigGreenEgg and using it quite a bit I went in to our local SamsClub and noticed the Big Brown Eggs they sell and you can immediately tell the difference in quality of the cooker itself, the hardware and accessories or eggccessories.

Just picked one of these up today.

It seems to work as advertised, so far.

I have not tried steaming wirelessly with multiple devices yet but I'm hoping this will be just what I wanted for long plane flights. I always end up filling my iPad storage with movies and TV Shows, then when I need to download something I am out of space.

A Seagate Wireless Plus 1TB WiFi HDD.

It has a built-in battery to last 9-10 hours and creates its own WiFi network. You join that network and then you can play videos, music, etc streamed from the HDD. Supposedly multiple devices can stream at the same time.

I know what my next purchase will be.... as soon as the new Air comes out. Just wish it were a bit cheaper, rather than 35% of the price of the iPad....

Picked up this little guy yesterday for $40. Was never used, and only opened long enough to look at. Still has all the original packaging, start guide, warranty info, even a sheet with two of the smallest white Apple stickers I have ever seen. Even the plastic case doesnt have a scratch on it.

I'm going to use the same iPad for at least three more years, so it doesn't bother me too much. But yeah, I'm not a fan of buying accessories that basically cost as much as the product usually. I don't have a MacBook to lug around anymore though, so it's what pushed me to getting it.

OS X actually via Screens looks pretty decent on a display this small. Get the BTC tweak, and a bluetooth mouse, and it's usable (except you can't do the gestures).
