Actually I use a vacuum cleaner on a semi professional basis... prob more of an enthusiastic amateur, anyways... Dysons are utter crap. They are over-engineered, awkward to use, unwieldy, plastic and crap.

I prefer a no-nonsense machine like a Henry.

I bought a Dyson DC25 I think about 8 or 9 years ago. It's still going strong. I had to replace the brush two times (once free under warranty), and replace the plug because one of the prongs broke off.

The only thing with the dyson is you have to clean the filter out regularly and I spray the entire canister out often and let it completely dry before putting it back together. It keeps the suction working well.

I agree with the some other people above - we had three Dysons in about six years as they kept going wrong. Had a SEBO now for almost a decade and it's been absolutely perfect.

Never really understood the infatuation with Dyson.

I'm sure there are better vacuums, but you can often find good deals on Dysons, they work well, and come with a 5 year warranty which Dysons is very good about. To say they are **** is just plain wrong. They are much worse, and much better, vacuums.

Just bought a similar Bosch model. Ive connected the waste pipe to my washing machine waste pipe so I don't even need to empty the water drawer any more.

That would likely not work with this one, as it uses the water to automatically clean the condenser. But with it's predecessor I did the exact same thing.

Was browsing bookoo (its like craigslist) the other day and saw these rims w/tires for $250, emailed the guy thinking they were sold since they had been posted for several days, the guy emails back and says they are still available, picked them up the same day and got them on today...

Friend bought me the starter kit as a house warming present. Went crazy and bought a bunch more. Have a hankering to fill up the whole wall. Great stuff.

I have bought/order it, will stand in front of my door in 7 months.

Skoda Octavia Break Elegance Greenline in that Denim Blue colour.
I had to take biggest greenline diesel engine which is a 1.6 with 105hp. (environmental tax), but I compesated this with putting every luxury pack and every option in it.
- Elegance Pack GPS
- Elegance Pack Style
- Elegance Pack Comfort
- Rough Road Package
- full leather interior
- full electric seats (front) with heating (front+back)
- and a lot more options, about 30 beside the packs

So a new VW Jetta in Skoda uniform and the testdrive was great.

+

an iPhone 5S 64gb Spacegrey to play with during the wait on my new car.

How things can change...
I cancelled the Skoda and ordered a Mini Cooper D

The Skoda was too much rationalized for giving a lot of bang for my bucks, but I haven't got any kids, don't need to move big/heavy objects all the time, so I went for a fun car instead.
Will also look great on the driveway rbesides the new Fiat 500 of my girlfriend :)

They are ****. My second Dyson wouldn't suck up a feather on the carpet. :) Yes, Dyson's are ****.

This reminds me of everyone that says my iPhone is **** because of the name and the fact that it's made by Apple.

I was in doubt between Deep Blue and Chili Red, but eventually I preferred this time the Deep Blue.

I prefer the white bonnet stripes on a Mini Cooper S Works or SD Works, unfortunate Mini's are quit expensive as a company lease car and I wanted some luxury and some necessities (spare tire or home comer wheel are an option, so is nav and airco).

Thinking about getting a classic Fiat 500 and/or Mini Cooper as a summer weekend fun car :)
