Been quite an expensive few weeks for me.

Bought an iPad Air with a smart cover and a twelve south compass stand.

A Pochette Gavotte sleeve for the iPad off etsy.

A new wireless keyboard to replace my previous one that died out.

A PS4

An extra controller, NBA 2K14 and Lollipop Chainsaw

And my very first hdtv, a 50" Samsung LED (along with the stand and rug below)

Sold a couple of my old iPhones I had lying around and got the PS4

Saved up for the Xbox One the old-fashioned way

The games

And with my bday/Christmas gift cards I decided to get my first DSLR. I'm the most excited about this.

Really wanted a Bose sound link and Cnet says they are the best along with the Jambox Minis. I ended up getting a Jambox mini used for 80 bucks and been super happy with it.

I guess Cnet's editor at the time was smoking crack when he or she said that about the Jambox Mini... It's a poor excuse for a speaker.

I like the design, but don't have £2,500 to spend on a chair. I know it's a fake, of course it's a fake -- I'm not fooling myself into anything. Even if I did have the money, I wouldn't buy it as I just don't place that kind of value on a chair.

Almost every chair you but now is inspired buy one of the Eames' designs, so it's pointless saying one should buy an 'original' design, as that's almost meaningless.

Just my view.

You might try the Logitech Performance MX. It's comfortable and very nice. I have one for each of my computers.

Thanks! I was looking into that but find it to pricey. I may go that route if this doesn't work out for me after a week.

Personally I find it too large for my hand, but I use it at work. I like the VX Revolution as my favorite mouse, and then the MX anywhere as a close second.


My Last Purchase - wasn't mine really - fiance bought us lunch at a pop up restaurant in Harbor East Baltimore. Had this yummy beer.

you should read up on intellectual property law and how it works

especially when it comes to exact 1:1 copies of (iconic, in this case) designs

to be clear, i don't give a rats peehole what the guy buys or doesn't buy, i was merely pointing out that there's options for every budget out there

As he/she stated in the original post, it's a replica. I don't think OP was trying to pass it off as the genuine article Sooo...being a dick: accomplished. Fact is, the replica is probably about as good as the original, with the original apparently being $2,000 ($2,000?! it's a friggin' desk chair) because it's got the name, just like so many other things in life.
