Lamy Z24 Converter for my White Safari. I know they are cheap pens, but I do like my Safaris for class work. Does anyone have any recommendations for a red FP ink?

I wanted to try a new notebook for my seminars this semester. I've been meaning to order a Rhodia, so I made the purchase this morning.

Those are the Glenn Beck jeans? How do you like them? I current wear Duluth ball room jeans, it's nice to have the extra ball room, but I might give the 1791 jeans a try.

Haven't worn them yet, in fact I have to send back and get a smaller pair. These are almost a full size to large.

The craftsmanship is excellent. The material is top notch, and while they were to big for an accurate fit they felt nice through the leg and seat.

My only gripe is they only come in 34 length where as I normally buy a 32 but Ill make due.

I checked out the Open Box/Clearance Items that each Best Buy within a 25 mile radius had for iPads with their conditions and price. Found a location that was advertising (2) Open Box iPad Airs 16gb's for $426.99, on top of that they also took off 10% which is one of their promotions right now for all open box items, which brought it down to $385 + taxes. One of the iPad Air's had been taken out and maybe used once, while the other one was brand new and still in the plastic wrapping.

I would recommend checking out any Open Box items your surrounding Best Buys have right now. I think the additional 10% off applies to everything including TV's.

Concerning the one that had been used once, was it registered? Did/does that cause any problems when you register it, etc.?

As long as the employee that processed the return knew to check that Find My iPad was off and the iPad was erased it should be fine. However, there is a thread in the iPad forum where this was not the case.

I passed this on to my dad, he is the plant manager for the small factory that makes these jeans, and thank you for supporting small US businesses. (They also make some of the Duluth jeans as well)

I don't know about that as I seem to be seeing plenty of American 4wds around here recently and plenty of the non-US ones seem to be getting to be on the impressive size side too these days especially if they've been done up.

Yeah I see the F250's and F150's occasionally but nowhere near as much as the Hilux/Navara/BT-50/Amarok/Tritons. Great looking trucks though.

Why only the i5?

The only heavy thing I do is X-Plane 10. From observing activity monitor on my parents Late 2009 Core i7, X-Plane hardly causes hyper threading to be used and the 4 real cores are not being pushed that hard. With hyper threading not a factor, it's not worth the $180 for 100 Mhz. X-Plane is more GPU dependent and that is why I went for the 780M.

Not a single problem with it. I checked the iPad before I purchased it. Mostly the open box items are returns because people want a larger amount of storage from what I've seen. I've always had a great experience and no problems with purchasing an open box item.

Picked up a BlueLounge CableBox this afternoon, to my surprise it was on sale for $15! I have a cable disaster and hopefully this will help me with controlling that mess.

Been a busy month for me outside of Christmas pressies for people etc, as I've been selling stuff to get myself a gaming PC, then got some stuff from the Steam Sales.

So for the PC I got:-
i7 4770, Asus H87M-Pro, 16Gb, 1Tb WD Black, (already had SSD), Sapphire R9 270X, FSP 550W, Fractal Design Arc Mini R2, and it came with BF4, Rome2 and Grid 2, Razer Deathadder Mouse, Steelseries Apex Raw.

And from Steam Sales and just before I got:
Tomb Raider, Arma 3, Aliens, Assetto Corsa, Batman Arkham Asylum & City, Bioshock Infinite, Brothers, CS:Go, DayZ, Dead Island, Dues Ex HR, Oblivion, Skyrim, Far Cry 3, Natural Selection 2, Spec Ops, Trackmania Stadium, Witcher 2, XCom Collection

Pretty chuffed, but expensive month :)

----------

Also, Logitech TV Cam HD. Saw it on a boxing day deal at 70% of the usual NZ price so grabbed one.

Wanted something to let my folks see there granddaughter easier as we live in New Zealand and they are back in the UK, so cramming the little one in front of the laptop is tricky.

Like it so far, although dont like how the image is reversed, makes it awkward trying to get the little one in shot :)
