Expensive day. Bought a LED mini Maglight for work. And bought a Sidekick/Croc combo kit from Home Depot to add to my Leatherman collection. Also bought and installed a serpentine belt for my truck.
A couple days ago, bought 2 new rear tires, replaced my front disc brakes, shocks, struts, and sway bars. Been an expensive week....

meh, them being visible is ok - the big problem is that they aren't aligned properly! that really gives me the heebbeeggeebbees.

Thanks Bobfitz14 and Rossatron for making me not feel so alone with my OCD!
The screws on the Galaxy gear watch would have to be all in the exact same horizontal position for me to even consider wearing it. Or it would be a constant distraction and i would have to fix/tweak it and it would never end………. :)

I bought a Think Tank Retrospective 7 for my M43 gear recently. It holds quite a lot: E-M1 with 20mm/1.7 mounted, 45mm/1.8, 7-14mm/4, 35-100mm/2.8, 100-300mm/4-5.6, FL600R, iPad, and miscellaneous batteries, memory cards, A-S plate, etc. Nice and stable too - you can set it down upright and the contents are safe. I also have a couple of little stuff it pouches that attach on the ends. One holds the battery charger and cable, the other a Seagate Wireless Plus 1TB drive and its parts. All up weight is under 12 pounds.

edit: seems to be ok with the 35-100 mounted with hood reversed, too. If I had a portrait grip on the camera, this would not work (but I don't and likely never will).

Got a Zotac GeForce GT 610 for a PC that I'm running #! (CrunchBang) Linux on. Couldn't beat the performance for the price.

I have the i3 version and it performs wonderfully. Boots Windows 8 to desktop in seconds.

Nice. I'm running XBMC atop Windows 8 on my NUC. You're gonna love it!

I have been considering a mSATA drive but openelec seems to run fine from USB2.0, I get some lag sometimes in fanart and thumbnails coming up, thinking the mSATA would help.

Been using XBMC since it was Xbox Media Player... lol. Finally decided that I didn't need my old desktop to run it and I could save a boat load of power by switching out to a NUC.... Now I just need to find a way to turn my NAS into a low power device.

Enjoy it! I got one for Christmas to replace my Flex. I love it.
How are you two liking yours? I'm a server at an upscale dine-in movie theater in Chicago and I walk at least 12,000 steps per shift. Naturally, I wanted to get a FitBit Force to track my steps, but I read so many bad things about it. Apparently it falls off while you're wearing it...?

My two most recent purchases:

My camera when I don't wanna lug around the DSLR and collection of lenses:

Wanted to get me a mac computer of some sort so I found one of these cheap:

Would like to clean the case and possibly get a clear side to display that gorgeous inner case.

I like these pick ups. Not the latest techs but they will keep up and keep you fiscally responsible ;-). The g10 has a great sensor - I recall it is the same as the s90/s95 or something like that and I love that camera.
