Holy smokes that's an amazing deal! Want to profit $100 right off the bat? I'll buy it from you for $850

I know its fantastic, I've seen them go for $1200-$1400 here is Aus. I wasn't in the market of a ultra wide ATM but couldn't pass up the deal. :):)

You're looking into revolvers and you don't know about the timing of a revolver? :D

Basically it's the timing that aligns the bullet with the barrel when the firing pin is penetrated. Sometimes they have been known to be off after time and then it's just a mess. Just something to be aware of.

Here's the one that I was considering but never ended up getting:

I don't know doodly about guns, but I was under the impression that the firing pin struck the cartridge primer, not that the firing pin is penetrated.

Sorry if I'm way off base.:p

Sorry, I'm writing a paper you're right, it does strike the primer hahah

The firing pin is the penetrator :p

I've never fired a Rossi, but usually revolvers are very reliable. A lot of people like revolvers because they don't throw the brass all over the place.

Probably can't beat the price, definitely cheaper than a Wilson Combat.

I bought the Mrs a Taurus revolver mostly because of the price and I knew it would be a bedside gun that would almost never be fired.

Its a revolver. It goes bang when you pull the trigger. That said a S&W is a far better piece of engineering. The action is smoother, the fit and finish is better. To quote an old adage, you get what you pay for.

Yeah, the revolvers usually just work. In the case of a bedside firearm it doesn't need to be perfect. Can't beat the price.

Scored some big (>2") vintage marbles on eBay on Christmas morning for a fraction of the usual price.

Also a couple of packs of "Intercontinental Cuties" playing cards by Bill Presing and Josh Cooley (Pixar artists).

Canon Pixma Pro-100. It was $100 after rebate. I couldn't resist. Not as cheap as mpix but I like instant gratification.

Bought 6 Philips LED bulbs. 3 40 watt, and 3 60 watt equivalent. They're on sale at Home Depot for $5.97 (40 watt) and $8.97 (60 watt). I also own 15 of the Cree branded LED bulbs as well. I'm slowly replacing all my incandescent and CFL's. Still got a ways to go.
