I picked up a small and light set of tripod legs and ballhead for an upcoming international trip where I need to keep the weight of my camera and technology kit under 7 kilos. The legs are Giottos QU500B from Amazon, and the Benro B0 ballhead came via Ebay from a Hong Kong vendor. Weight is under a pound, is capable of supporting 5 kilos, and they fit inside my Think Tank Photo Retrospective 7 bag.

edit: Pro tip: reattach the rubber pads on the leg tips with super glue

Looks like a cool contraption!

Sorry for the bad photo but bought some aromatics and chicken breasts to make chicken noodle soup for my sick fiance. Also bought some OJ and nyquil/dayquil for him to get through his shifts.

Earlier today I found a deal for a patriot rage xt 32 gb for $28. Also picked up a corsair voyager slider 16 gb for $12. I have been on the search for a large capacity drive for a while to partition into bootable images...but the prices were too good to pass up.

Lol, editing to add on more last purchases. Bought these brand new off of head-fi from a seller, who bought the headphones and modded them to take a removable cable. He also shortened the cable which is perfect for me to use on the go and in bed. It hits all the marks for me. He did a beautiful job, and I have been wanting to try these out.

xbox one, yes

my bad

seriously though? that's kinda surprising to me

obviously i'm not a gamer, but i was under the impression that both those new consoles sold like hot cakes

guess not

They've sold over 4,000,000 of them so far. They're going fast, Microsoft was just able to supply them pretty well.

One of these powerful things haha

500 MHz processor and 128 MB RAM. I'll upgrade the RAM and run 10.4 on it and clean it up and just have it around.

Something about these older Macs I just really like.

Can you tell me where you purchased it? How much did it cost? I have been trying to look for black macbook these days.

Two boxes of these for my daughter and wife to share as they were on offer. Sadly I'm still dieting so I'll munch on a carrot stick instead.

Couldn't resist walking in the Victorinox store again in the mall as I walked by…damn that place. Picked up a white Classic SD to go with the blue and black Classic SDs, the red MiniChamp, and the full size SwissChamp.

I'm done now, I swear.

I have to say though, I continue to be amazed how despite mass production, they can keep the prices so low on something of such high quality that is still made in Switzerland. The little classics retail for just $20 ($15 at REI) and the MiniChamp retails for $50 (but I got mine at REI for just $35). The full size champ is still only about $80. I have to say that I am impressed that you can still get something of such high quality for such a low price.

Brand new SAN

current one is old + get some power disruption (even behind the ups), it will be used as a test server (mainly web) , will keep it as well for the time machine / Backup server.
New one will be used for Video, music sharing as well as data and any other wonderful feature :)

Bose Quiet Comfort 15 with noise canceling

Bought a pair of these. they're so fantastic! The noise canceling is amazing. Powered by 1x AAA battery. Very light and my first headphones that are actually "comfortable" to wear, i could sometimes forget i'm wearing them. :) The guy in-store told me the battery should last around 40 hours, but i got them just yesterday so there's plenty of hours left hehe.

My "good deal" on a NEX3 from amazons Dally deal a couple weeks go quickly turned into a NEX5 and a 55-210mm lens:eek::

Still a great deal, found the camera open box for $430, and I got $350 for the NEX3 I paid $280 for. So the camera was still a good deal. And the lens was only $200 bundled with the open box NEX5.
