Love my soundlink mini. I didn't think I needed it either, but it's in regular use at my house (parties, kitchen while cooking, downstairs by the tree playing holiday music...)

Wow. I like that; genuinely like that - what a wonderful, if slightly funky - idea.

Enjoy it.

Thanks, I hope I will enjoy it. It's a clunker but will sit at a nice office desk in front of a couple of monitors. It was love at first sight, and I had to have it. Happy to be paying $100+ under MSRP though lol. It is either this or a Happy Hacking Keyboard Professional 2 Type S, which is also $200-300.

Greek key Trim for a DIY project i have planned with some curtains, they sell this stuff per yard. these things are expensive, got it at a awesome price with Hobby Lobby's 40% off sale :) (black and tan)

FYI: Hobby Lobby is a much better Michaels

I was so utterly annoyed with my 6s, I bought a 7+ tonight also tech21 case and landed a free screen protector and install due to activation screw up by new Apple rep.

My reverse psychology with :apple: is ridiculous, but it was worth it. Better screen, battery life and much better wifi reception during my commute and at home and cheaper than what Cook & co were asking thanks to trade in (let Apple deal with my mealy 6s) and gift card.

For folks in NYC looking for matte black and jet black, 5th Avenue had tons of them in store. I saw several people walking out with jet black phones. Helpful tip: if you're walking there along 6th avenue, avoid 54-56th streets on the same side of the street as the Apple store (Trump Towers and tourists).

I have several computers, one of which includes my 2015 13 inch MBP Broadwell. Returning from Seattle last year, my 1 TB Iomega USB 3 external hard disk was stolen from my luggage. I was planning to repurpose it for use with the Mac, but that never happened. So, I have been working without any backups for a year; thankfully I survived. Whats interesting, I purchased my external hard disk; a G-Drive, 2 TB, on my last day in the US.

I almost forgot it considering it was my top purchases. I rushed over to the Apple Store and picked it up for a 100 dollars, which is kinda expensive. It would still be more expensive in Jamaica. I probably could have gotten it at Best Buy for $60, but I forgot to check when I went there to purchase a laptop for my nephew. Anyway, I got it and partitioned up for use with Windows and macOS and its working great. Created my first Time Machine backup, which was kinda exciting.

Oh, so you can partition it and format for the respective OS, and it works fine? I was under the impression it wasn't 'safe' to do so...

Been eyeing up those Bose for awhile. Let us know what you think.

As a package, they're great. I've been wearing them for the past week during my commutes and while working at my desk, and often forget they're even on. Even with my big ears, they're quite comfortable, and maintain a solid wireless connection between my iPhone and Mac. As far as noise cancelling goes, I admittedly expected more, but that's simply because I'm not really familiar with headphones like this. I expected total isolation, but you don't quite get that. Loud noises still leak through, which was disappointing at first until I lifted an ear cup and realised how much they actually do block out.

Only qualm is how much wind noise leaks through while I'm walking outside.
