Centaurr, honestly it's just another gimmick to keep their products pricey. Sure it'll help if you're into making music or do some type of designing. It's like they want to make their screen's touchable, but then they didn't.
Say if you're making music, you can use the touch bar to scroll through your project. Same with designing, etc.
Or if you're listening to music, instead of cmd+F9 you can just touch the "Next" icon to change the song.
