Pardon the pic heavy post --

Picked up a LOT of things this past week.

2015 Macbook Retina Space Gray
Charjenpro hub
Logitech Mx Master and Case
Incase Icon Case for MacBook
Duet Display

I think that is just about all I need for a perfect portable set up.

I'm not sure if you're joking, but a torque wrench is a tool to tighten lug nuts to a specified torque, you still need a cheater bar, or a tire iron to remove the wheel. For what it's worth even a lot of garages don't adjust the torque setting on their pneumatic tools, so a device like this allows ou to check and make sure your lug nuts are in compliance with oem specs...

Nope, not joking! Thanks for the explanation

I am guessing he meant that he did not know Dewalt made torque wrenches. I also have never seen a Dewalt branded torque wrench before.

A very handy tool to have in the shop. You probably know already, however make sure you unwind it each time to take the pressure off when you store it. Nice purchase.

She**
And I really meant I didn't know such a tool existed.

A lot of people are buying the 2015 MacBook and MacBook Pro. Is the 2016 models that bad. I need a new MacBook and I feel left behind without USB-C

I don't know about the 2016, but it was purely a price factor. I got the 2015 MacBook for $700..selling my old 2013 machine and putting a little towards the new one allowed me to get at least a little more current. I did not require a brand new/current year release as the 2015 works just great.

Note once you jump to these models, the initial upfront cost is higher because of the need for all the dongles and such. However, once you find the right dongle for your needs, you are pretty much set.

Some more Macbook related purchases - I am rounding out a tech survival kit with these items and need to just add a few more things.

The final pieces to my tech survival kit, and they are arriving today. The Samsung Fit 128 gb is just a great price and paired with a nondairy USB dongle, it makes it a great versatile drive to use between USB 3.0 and USB-C. Probably so much so that I didn't really need the Kingston USB/USB 32 gb drive. It costs $8 to return (more than half of what is worth, so oh well.. I am keeping it or selling it I guess!).

Bought this for my wife for an early Mothers Day present, and because her Windows laptop is kinda crap. She'll have a processor that's about twice as fast, double the memory, and go from a spinning disk to an SSD. And since it's a Mac, it's easier for me to deal with. Win win all around.

Carry that Belkin unit with me nearly 100% of the time (had it out at the old house during staging because it was a little more attractive than a normal power strip). Very very handy.

Yeah I saw this in a youtube video and it seemed so handy that it has the ports and a rotating plug...I could have really used this during college. I don't spend that much time out at coffee shops studying anymore, but it seemed like a great thing to have really anywhere while traveling.

Do the prongs fold in?
