Based on personal experience with flooring, professional install is the way to go.
~1,200 square feet worth of Pergo MAX laminate, to be installed starting tomorrow. Paying to have a pro put it in so it'll be done right, and quicker than I could manage it.

Definitely. We tried to do it in one room and figured out we’re just not that handy. Plus, my time is worth more here than my money.

Decided to restring my Stratocaster today. I've always used 9s but I've always find the low E string to be a bit too floppy so I keep considering putting 10s on it. The guy in the music store suggested trying somewhere in between first, so I picked up some D'Addario EXL125s. Of course my tremolo bridge got pulled up to far so I also picked up a new tremolo spring.
Nice, I was lucky enough to find some more at retail. Guy special ordered for me, said I got the last of it. Not all for me, friends taking 2 bottles.

New "night" shirt
I've missed owning that CF black logo on the black shirt for years now (I wore my original one until it was a rag.) They're official so I was glad to be able to replace that shirt at long last. Someday I'll post a big girl purchase...but today isn't one of those days.

Hopefully not out of form here, but do you have a ballpark of what it cost to do that with installation? I have been kicking around the idea of doing something similar to around the same amount of square footage at my house.
