Happy Birthday to me:

Couldn’t justify the cost of an Xs or Xs Max. I hope I don’t miss the dual camera too much. That was my only hesitation.
I also got a Spigen Slim Armor case with 2 card storage as I have had one on my 7+ for the last 2 years and been really happy with it. Love not having to carry a wallet.

I got my wife an iPhone 8 for Christmas as well. I would have gotten her an Xr, but she is coming from an SE, and she prefers the smaller size.

Happy birthday and enjoy your phone; I'm not clear from either your post or the image - which actual model of iPhone did you treat yourself to?

Love my new MX mouse that much, I decided to go ahead and buy a new keyboard too.

This'll be arriving tomorrow!

I just got an Acer Chromebook to review. Looking forward to it. I don't really need another computer at home, but after reviewing it, I will keep it at my girlfriend's place and it will give me something to do while she is feeding cats, birds, etc. I don't own an Android device, but I think this will run Android apps, so that could be interesting.. we will see.

Picked up a current gen iPad on the cheap yesterday and am getting a smart cover for it today. Technically it's a gift. Also got some Beats wireless sport headphones (forgetting the model, also on sale, also a gift). My last purchase for me was a XS and a red leather case for it. Upgrading on the upgrade program from an 8 plus so the size has been an adjustment but I love it so far.

Well at least you didn't go to the Dark Side AKA Windows ;) Let us know how you like it.

I have a Toshiba Windows laptop I got to review about a year ago. I can’t remember the last time I used it. It is 15 inches, so it’s tablet mode is cumbersome. This is 11 inches, which is much more manageable. I am still setting it up, but this will be useful at the girlfriend’s place.

My Das Keyboard for Mac up and died so I replaced it with a blue switch professional. Finally took the plunge to replace my nobrand chair with the SecretLab Stealth Omega chair for which my back is thanking me profusely for. Lastly, switched my long suffering Creative T40 speakers with black Audioengine A2+. Next up, choosing my new 4K gaming monitor...

Le Sigh....

The last purchases, well since my last post. Oh Lordy where do I start?

Let's just stick with the photography side of things this go around.

Well, we have new member in our family (of photo pieces.)

Our new additions are:
Sony 85mm GM 1.4
Sony 90mm G 2.8 Macro
Sony 18-105 G F4

and while I was at it, let's my old 'beater' bag has seen its better days.
So I now have a Vanguard Alta Fly 58t ---- something with wheel and back straps.

Just two of the little photos I tick while the wifey was making her way through Ulta while I manned the car in the best spot/parking lot.
I am sure there will be more photos to come.

I thin this is one "hobby" of mine that at anytime could take a change and become my full time gig. I don't know about some of you but these hobbies or whatever we try to call them is ex-spen-sive (I guess depending on where you are in life)
but even that being said, I am grateful and full full of joy that at this particular point in my life I have the ability to own many many type of piece of camera equipment and I just love see all of the new things people post and buy themselves.

Maybe the whole holiday plus booze getting to me but; lads, ladies grateful to have all of you still around with us. And to at least 50 more years of 'Posting your Last Purchase's

Photography isn’t a cheap hobby that’s for sure! But then I don’t think there are any hobbies where you can’t spend money!
