eta, this also arrived but forgot about it. Usually I’m a chloe original type of girl but I had a sniff of this new scent via magazine and decided to splurge on it. Smells just as good in liquid as it does on that paper.

I very much like the gold silk cloth/scarf(??) beneath the parfum. My former wife‘s favorite was Mademoiselle. It was mine as well. I haven’t a clue of the Gabrielle fragrance but Coco rarely misses it seems.

Speaking of my former wife, she had something very close to this but in the darker tone. Something in the $2500 range I recall. She also had the vintage Chanel classic (which is still in my closet after 6 years).

goyard you mean? I think for those it’s around 1-1.5k, goyard is similar to LV but different obviously and can get to the 2.5k mark.

Chanel is 50% off for employees... making friends with a sales associate or manager is 😁😁

unfortunately I was a broke college student when a friend of a friend type of connection.

Good taste. I like it very much. We (I now) have several silk throws/table clothes ?? we brought back from China. There’s a gold one somewhere I don’t know where. I don’t really know what to do with them. I gifted one or so as a wedding gift. They felt and looked so nice we just bought them.

I had to look up goyard...pretty nice. I’ll keep it in mind for gifts for my stepdaughter. The design must have been different and limited then versus the monogram or damier.

I fell in love with the color and pattern. It’s very plush irl. Anthropologie.

goyard is nice, and some of the classmates I had also carried them along with sneakers from common projects.

and yes, 50% off for Chanel and I saw Gucci mentioned earlier. I know for a fact Gucci is 50% off bags. I turned down a sales job from them (wish I had accepted and then taken advantage of the discount before I left, bc I turned down twice I effectively burned the bridge anyways).

but the 50% off for Chanel was what I was told, I didn’t get the discount, my manager (the friend of a friend) did, and so she purchased a clutch @ 50% off.

RE Chanel 50% off....the story of my life. 😝

I like the clutch much more than this big bag and wanted to buy it for my step daughter but she declined. From this naive-ish guy’s POV the clutch just seems more practical and usable. Maybe that’s why this bag is still here. 🤷‍♂️

Hoping you post any artwork you buy. Would like seeing it. Cheers.

A Ryobi 40V Pole Saw.
No, that’s not me in the picture, but the saw looks like mine. I finally tried it out on a variety of tree limbs, and am happy to report that it does its job in stellar fashion.

A little awkward, yes, but short of having a bucket truck (or paying someone to do this for me) this tool makes cutting hard-to-reach limbs pretty simple. I considered the corded electric model, but am glad I went with the cordless version. After cutting a bunch of limbs on three trees, I still had half of the battery charge left.

what a great deal. Id love to have a 2016 iMac for free. Especially since my 2012 iMac is dying. Enjoy it.

My last purchase made was a nanoblock from minijapanshop.eu . I got this wonderful Pokemon character, Winged Charizard that took some time to build. Since the nanoblocks are much smaller than Lego, gotta love puzzles. :D
 
Picked up the baseline iPad at Best Buy for 299. Liking the sidecar so far and will be looking for a stand.

With playoff hockey ongoing (Avalanche fan here) and football coming up (Broncos fan as well) I had the urge to get some virtual playing time in. Unfortunately my Xbox 360 no longer allows for me to get games that have up-to-date rosters (or should I say "more recent rosters") so I got these:
