Thanks... I'm not sure how well it works connected to a macbook via a thunderbolt usb. Don't have on to test. All I can say is the the Elgato Cam Link 4k is a popular capture card, and recommended by a lot of content creator influencers... which isn't saying much... LOL

It does work well with my DSLR (EOS R) and Mirrorless (A7riii). My setup has changed since I posted that pic... and it is still in the process for another change. So I don't go off topic, I did purchase another Elgato product... The Elgato Facecam... because I found a 10% discount code....

Every Elgato product I purchased were on sale or discounted... which is still pricey... haha Anyway, both camera's are using a usb camlink. It works well on my mirrorless A7riii, but my EOS R turns off about 30 to 45 minutes in... I think it's overheating and shuts off. That's one of the reasons why I ordered the Elgato Facecam. I was using my EOS R as my static corner cam... which is a small picture anyway. Planning replace the EOS R with the Elgato Facecam, and move the EOS R below my right monitor facing my Wacom Tablet and mouse when editing.

I actually didn't receive my Elgato Facecam yet... so yes... the box on the pic is Photoshop'd... if you couldn't tell.. :)
I love the wallpaper!..can you send me the link, please?
Regards!

New cycling shorts. For some reason I seem to have put some weight on over the last year and the previous pair were getting very tight.

Wife took over my MX Keys and MX Master 3 so had to get a replacement. Pretty happy with this setup so far!
Did you like your MX Master 3 with your Mac?
I can't seem to get used to it and scrolling is very jumpy and not smooth like the Magic Mouse.

I think I am going to sell it if I can't figure it out.
I love the ergonomics and hear people rave about it but its rather annoying.

I love the MX Master 3. Click the middle button to stop the clicky scrolling. It took me awhile to figure that out!

I tried that and its still so jittery.
I read on some forums and feedback that you have to install an app call Smooth Scroll which I did but its still a pain.

I am probably doing something on my end as I know so many rave about this mouse but its been an annoying start. Works great with my work computer though.(Windows)

yeah actually on Mac, if you use bluetooth it stutters for some dumb reason. Use the dongle and it will work fine

Yea definitely using bluetooth.

Ill have to find a dongle and see if I want to keep that method or just go back to the Magic Mouse. I like this one because I can easily switch between my home Mac and my work Windows machine all with a push of a button instead of using 2 mice.
Thanks for the feedback!

You can use any logitech dongle that supports multiple devices. In fact I have a 2 dongle setup for this thing.

Not my real last purchase, but my last significant one.

Base M1 MacBook Air for the wife. I was hoping to hold off for the newly redesigned Air or maybe the 14-inch MBP, but her 2017 MacBook was struggling more and more to handle daily tasks And the fact that I got discounted AirPod Pros and it was tax-free weekend didn't hurt.

Compared to the MacBook this thing is amazing. The processor, the bigger screen (that extra inch helps), THE KEYBOARD. I'm quite impressed. I still may consider selling it and upgrading depending on what the near future holds for the MBP and Air.

I'm very strongly considering one for my home machine. I think it'll hold it's resale decently enough to warrant selling and buying a refreshed or more powerful model down the line and I really could use something newer.
