Keychron K2 V2 Brown switch. I have a Red to compare. One goes back.

Wooden, much thicker/taller wrist rest coming. Love the feel, I needed something of it smallish size to fit on my under desk keyboard shelf. I might have to raise the height of the mouse.

I use sauvage. Where do you get the essence vault from? I’d like to try.

It’s just from the company Essence Vault online. Look out for vouchers as I had 30% off mine. I bought the parfum version and can declare it lasted all day today. I could still smell it in myself at the end of the working day which is something I haven’t had with Sauvage. A colleague of mine couldn’t tell the difference between the two too so I think this is my go to now. Definitely worth a try.

Been messing around with Raspberry Pis again. OctoPrint is very useful for 3D printing,

I bought an Argon case for a Pi 4 that I'll use in the living room for games (RetroPie) and movies (Kodi). The case even has a built in IR receiver for compatible remotes.

My old case on the right in a basic fanless one. The Argon adds full size HDMI ports via a breakout board.

Surface Pro X purchased for/by my company to test Windows 11 for mobile deployment. We tried with Windows 10 last year and everyone hated it. Loving it so far with Windows 11!

They hated Windows 10 or the Surface? I hope they weren’t complaining about 10 as that should have been standard for years at this point.

My commitment issues and wanting to change up peripherals time to time. Also OCD on getting matching gear..

Was missing the dedicated arrow/F/home/end/del keys on my Glorious 60%, so decided to give the Razer optical switches a go. Was worried I would hate the low actuation force, but so far feel good with them, the 1mm actuation distance is nice. I don't bottom out when I type and on the previous Gateron Blacks sometimes I wouldn't press far enough. Keyboard feels cheaper, but it doesn't flex on me so all good.

Got the DeathAdder as it has been my favorite shape since I had the 3.5G, but had a bad run quality wise with the ones that came after. Now it's also wireless, slightly heavier than the Model O wireless and doesn't glide as freely, but I'll take the shape over all else. Also got the dock to chuck it on easily when even I'm away from the computer, won't have to worry about battery.

Blackshark V2 Pro, certainly a downgrade to the AKG K712 I was using, but my hearing has suffered a little to bikes/cars with straight pipes and loud jobs. I also don't listen to hi-res audio and these are just for late at night and when playing games wanting isolation from my computer fans. The wireless freedom is great!

Then it's a 2021 model. Don't fall for the marketing bullsh*t.
No its not. next year models hit in current late Summer over here in USA and usually there are minor and sometimes major changes. Like in 2022 Civic is already here redesigned and being sold. You have no idea what are you talking about!

I understand that there will be changes to cars every year. But to call a car that will be fabricated this year a "2022 model" is a marketing move to give the idea of having the latest. And yes, I do understand that it is an industry standard to do so in some countries.

In comparison, Apple isn't doing it. Example: they debuted the 16-inch MacBook Pro in November 2019, and still they don't call it a 2020 model.

Much ado about nothing... it's been the industry standard for automobiles sold in the US for my entire life time (almost 70 years) and probably more... no need to get worked up about it.
