Bose QC35’s are a lot bigger yes. But they aren’t that bulky. They hold into a case. I use them daily for Teams calls at work. The AirPod Pro’s I use for working out and my lunchtime walks.
Mine are older (maybe 6 years) so charge via micro USB rather than USB c. But that’s no big deal.
They are all tools. No tool fits all applications.
Ohhh I see a lot of my power banks charge via micro USB as well. Only one is USB C. I wear my AirPods 2nd generation for time to walk episodes on Fitness+ for outdoor walks, when I work out of Fitness+ in the hotel, announce notifications and to listen to holiday music.

I still use a pair of wired gaming headphones from Amazon which has an amazing microphone and speaker on it when I use my laptop at home. It also is handy when I go on Teams teleconference with my NASA remote work team throughout my internship. I don’t bring my wired headphones over ear ones outside the house as they are too big to fit in my backpack. I keep a set of retro EarPods and Daiso in ear headphones in my laptop bag.

I only have one power bank and I think it has all the ports. I don’t use it very often though.
I love the freedom of no wires. Plus the work issues ones are awful. That’s why I’d rather use my Bose. Then when I’m not on a call I listen to music to drown out my colleagues (open plan office). But never holiday music. I’d sooner listen to nails on a blackboard.

Same here I work remote for NASA for 3/4ths of my internship and when I am not on calls but on my tasks, I do listen to music or watch YouTube while I write up reports or work on an infographic. I have the freedom of the home office, y’all!

I work from home three days a week. In the office two. I hate the office and would go full time remote working if I could. But I think our boss is more likely to make us go in more.
I get a lot more done at home. Plus I don’t waste time commuting. At least I can charge the car at work for free.

I just finished the remote part of my internship, and I'm so excited that I was accepted to do the in-person part of it in late January! A cohort of twelve interns, including me, will travel for work and report to NASA for a week at an institution. While the commute is three to five hours, the company is paying for our lodging, breakfast, lunch, and transportation, so I'm glad I don't have to scramble. We'll transition from working at home in a home office to meeting with NASA experts, including my boss, working on programming and testing rovers, and participating in a robotics competition. This sounds like a lot more fun than sitting at a desk for five- to six-hour shifts of two to three meetings, including one with our supervisor at the end of our shift. Which band do you wear for work? I personally like the Milanese loop, Modern Buckle and Classic Buckle.

Didnt get any pictures of it, but I bought my dad a Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO 27" from Costco, and set it up for him. Its got an AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB drive. I had actually bought it a couple weeks ago when it was on sale, but didnt get it to him until yesterday. I tried to get him sold on the iMac, but he was reluctant to learn a new OS, so stuck with Windows. I'm surprised with how well Windows 11 runs on that system - I did a fresh install of Windows 11 Enterprise (because I have keys, so why not) and didnt install any of the Lenovo gunk. I had given him a Dell Latitude 5480 several years ago, and it was getting long in the tooth running Windows 10. I grabbed a Samsung 970 EVO drive that I have, installed Zorin OS 16 Pro on it and this thing now has new life. So, I ended up with one more Linux machine in my stable to play around with. I'll probably upgrade to Zorin 17 Pro in April once support for 16 ends.

Over the ear are nice for the office. There are easier for coworkers to see so they know when not to bother me.

If I’m wearing airpods or not wearing heaphones, they know it’s cool to ask me
a question.

Where I work at, each individual had their own tasks, so we don’t need to talk about work much. The headphone means I’m working on a difficult or urgent task
so please don’t interrupt me.

Everyone has headphones on in the office. We only go in for two days but just about everyone hates it. Years ago we had a good atmosphere in the office. Now things are just depressing.

Still have my silver model, purchased new and about worn out (I don't shoot film anymore, but will never part with it). About a year after it was released, I bought a "used" dF (think it was a "review/return" purchase, most of the accessory packaging hadn't been opened) for $900 less than New (it was a polarizing camera and I knew they'd be going for a song fairly rapidly).
It looks very much like my FM-2, and I use it strictly in Manual mode with my old lenses. Love both cameras.

I've been wanting to get into music streaming since my 6-mo "free" subscription to sirius xm with my last car (I refuse to ever do business with sirius again, though, at this point). This would be for my home audio system:

Cambridge.jpg

Was really tempted by the Wiim streamer/DACs, but many reviewers say the Cambridge Audio sound better, both systems have good phone apps, the top "Wiim Ultra" (the one I would get) does not work with Apple Airplay 2, the Wiims are plastic, and CA has a pedigree stretching back to 1970 or so; Wiim could be gone tomorrow. Should be here Friday!
