Too bad. I love the look of some of them. Hopefully Apple forces them to go towards higher quality.
i have to disagree with the other poster, find me a better pair of wireless earbuds to workout in that don't fall off your ears and sound as amazing as the beats wireless 2 do.

SimpliSafe wireless home security system... no contracts, and a great product for those who rent either a house or apartment. No holes, no wires to run, and you can take the system with you when you leave. Been around for years, but only recently have I seem them advertised.

I got one sketchpad and two packs of these inking pens/pigment liners. I also bought two single .05 pens as well. I got them at the local art store (which is 45min away). I do pen and ink illustrations.

That is a laughably thick laptop. Wth?

It's a gaming laptop, which means it has powerful components that require space to keep them cool. I have the same laptop in 17" and am on it as I type this. It's big and heavy, but I can still pop it in my backpack and take it with me to game at other locations. Performance over form.

Build quality is outstanding. What digitalnicotine said is correct. It's a high-end gaming laptop. It's what’s on the inside that really counts; it's packed with extremely powerful specs! It's very fast and has excellent performance. Have you not heard of Alienware before?

The one I just bought is 17" as well :)

alienware make great laptops but this is an apple forum full of fanboys who almost without exception bought their first mac well past the turn of the century, which makes them authorities on form over function and compulsively obsessed with thinness, don't bother

Most would argue that Alienware is overpriced, but I certainly do like their models. I prefer Sager, which is not entirely well known. The M17x is great, I am drawn to larger laptops and workstations. The M18x was even better when it was offered!

Very nice purchase and glad you're happy with it.

Most would probably argue macs are overpriced as well. But there is nothing quite like a mac so we have no other choice but to pay the premium.

Just ordered the Tamron 15-30mm F/2.8 VC lens. Will be my first non Canon L lens. Half of the price of equivalent Canon lenses but as good as or even better than them. Plus, this lens is 300$ cheaper in Indonesia than US. Can't wait for it to arrive ;)

Post back once you've installed. I've been on the fence about getting the "DIY" home security system and have looked quite a bit at SimpliSafe. I'd like to know how it goes for you.

Ordered last week and it came here yesterday. I wish I didn't order it because SplitView feature is not avaialbe for Air 1 so I have to sell it this Fall. What a waste of money!

I like this, looks high quality but not insanely expensive. Will be getting my self this watch in the near future.
Yup, it's a pretty affordable slick watch, i'm very picky with watches and i fell in love with it, it's the perfect mix between classy\young with minimal lines (and price)!
I also liked the Winston Blue Cognac, i'll probably pick it up in a few months :p
