$500 AUD (~$400 US) donation to Telethon Perth in Western Australia (not my picture). In its 47h year - annual fundraising event that goes non-stop for 26 hours to raise funds for the medical and social welfare of children in Western Australia. Just hit under 24 million AUD with an hour left to go. So proud of my adopted state. :)

I really wanted to replace my Apple watch, but felt at the end of the day I would be 'happier' doing this instead.

Good on you. I'm sure the children this helps will appreciate the money more than :apple: (who do a fair amount of charity work).

Definitely. I am so happy to see just under 26 million AUD raised in 26 hours when it finished (and we are a small state in terms of population). Fantastic. :)

I must feed my addiction: so many Shaws, so little time.

Double dips (Judgement of An Assassin, Deadly Breaking Sword: I'll keep dipping both of these since they're in my top 3 Shaws...I want to watch them any place I can.)

Portrait in Crystal and Temperament of Life.

Region 3 Weird Man, Hex After Hex and Winner Takes All (my Halloween viewing is a lock now with these, Portrait in Crystal, Revenge of the Corpse and The Enchantress.:p)

iTunes Cantonese version of Shaolin Rescuers.

I love LED's. I've been using Cree 40,60, and 75 watt equivalent LED A19 bulbs, and several BR30 Cree 65 watt equivalent flood Hi-Hat bulbs for the past year and a half. I've been quite pleased with them. I got these because they're on for 12 hours a day and use so little power. 8 watts for 4 fixtures. Can't complain about that.

I want to do my whole house. Is there a consensus better brand than most? I want to do my canned lights in the kitchen, halls, bedrooms, ceiling fans, etc.

I know its going to be a hefty penny but worth it is my understanding.

New pair of Timberland boots. These have a jacquard black camouflage pattern made from ballistic nylon. They are surprisingly comfortable and fit my orangutan feet well.

I needed to replace my failed motion sensing outdoor garage light so I purchased this LED fixture from Costco today on sale for $31.99. I'm not sure how good it is yet since I've only installed it a few hours ago. I'll test it tonight.

Edit: It works great. The color temperature is a bit cool, but it still does it's job. It's bright, and uses much less energy than my previous fixture.
