Used some air miles to get a new Android tablet, been awhile since I've had one. HP8 G2 1411

One of these monitors. I was so excited to get it, yet I was so overwhelmed when I got it. It's just soooooooooooo big. I'm still debating if I like having a monitor this big. I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking for a basic monitor, but not for those who want top of line with the highest specs. Plan on getting a Mac Mini in the future, so hopefully this thing has good performance with OS X.

A new Internet connection :)

Speedtest is reporting the ping incorrectly for some reason; if I run ping in Terminal then it's 8 ms.

So glad I found the alternate issue 1 of Rasputin (I love that poison in the wine glass concept, so cool.)

Pre-ordered the trade of the Rasputin comic (no brainer.) - I'd buy the digital too but the Image app is linked to comixology so that's a washout for me. No biggie, floppy and trades are where it's at.

And I saw my Rasputin comic commission on twitter yesterday, not only was that done fast (a week after I paid for it), it's insanely beautiful. So worth the rubbles... I am going to have to pace myself with art from the series because I can see I may buy a lot of it and more commissions too. :)

<ahem>

and the latest person to tackle Rasputin in biography format. Hopefully this won't be as paint by numbers as the sample makes it out to be.

I'm staring at 2 of them right now (connected to my mini). I am VERY pleasantly surprised with them so far. I was worried because my other machine is an rMBP, but they're great. And yes - they're huge.

I quit for a long time. I got back into it a few months ago. I have 4-5 pairs of Retro 1's in different colors, I got the 29's a few weeks back, and the Retro 11 Legend Blue's as well.

Yea I have about 70 pairs in my collection so far. I love Kicks lol:p
Recently I bought the black/gum 1's, kd vII gum bottoms, 11's, and Adidas Zx Flux Prism's, and the 4's

I finally bought my first smart phone from Cricket Wireless. It's a Motorola Moto G first gen with 4G LTE. I've been a stubborn flip phone user for years and I just decided to join the 21st century. I'm not new to Android since I've had a Nexus 7 for a while now. The big problem with a flip phone as you all well know, is texting people who refuse to take phone calls. Texting on a flip phone (at least for me) is a real pain in the ass. Oh well, it was cheap enough a $99 plus a possible $75 rebate. I say possible because I'm an existing customer and I'm getting conflicting answers from my local store and customer service, but the email I just got says I'm entitled to get the rebate. I have to say I'm pretty damn excited. I'll have it in 2 days..

Well the completist wins. Pre-ordered Escape from New York blu ray from Shout/Scream Factory.

Now that Fox has the rights to the film / characters, and are starting from scratch, my enthusiasm is pretty much dormant. Carpenter and this new team have to do a lot to get me interested (the last few attempts have been almost as awful as the new comic from Boom.)

Congratulations on the new phone!

I am going to have to stop at Stewart's on my way home and play your numbers. Maybe we can split the jackpot. "Hey, you never know".

I usually do quick pick as well.

I only do the quick pick, I'm actually a lot more surprised that you know what a Stewart's is and that you have one by your house lol

Lottery tix and a test with Arrow Films U.S. dvd release of Blood and Black Lace (I am hoping that can play on a standard North American dvd player as I cannot keep buying multi-region players and discs.) - not that I need this but I wanted to support Arrow Films as they make their way into the U.S. market (and hopefully release a couple of Euro/Italian cult films I'd like to own.)
