I recently got the G42 as well.

My first Glock and I am in love. Thinking about the 4th gen G17 next.

Have you had any problems with the G42? I had a couple misfeeds, but I'm pretty sure it was an issue with the magazine.

I couldn't get the bottom plates off my magazines to put the grip extender on, so I had my Dad try. He made a mess of the whole thing and I was only able to fit 3 bullets into my mags. I asked a guy at the local gun shop if he could help and he told me they were broken. So I went home and got a small screwdriver and went to town. They're just fine and have the extenders on now.

Sorry about my long, uninteresting story.

Here's a picture of my G42 and Mosquito to make up for it.

Congrats! My first Glock as well. I stayed away for a long time, not a fan of their full-size offerings. I have a couple XD's, that HK, and some 1911's - mostly got the G42 for the wife, and if she ends up not liking it then she'll be my pocket pistol :D.

Oh and I haven't shot the 42 yet. Hopefully in a few days.

And a few minutes ago I bought this for her:

That house looks amazing! Congratulations :)

My most recent purchase was one of these to sit on. Can't wait to get it!

I know I should have gone for the black and grey one. But blue. I love blue so much lol.

Just get a different mouse pad if the logitech isn't moving smoothly, the magic mouse is garbage ergonomically especially if you spend hours with your hand on it.

Think it depends on how you hold it.

I've personally preferred how easy the smaller minimal Apple mice can roll around in my hand on the desk. Giant mice to me seem like much more effort.

Hehe, I ended up getting a Logitech G502 for that reason. I really didn't want a wired mouse, but there was a $50 steam card included so it was a pretty good deal, and the mouse is the best mouse I've ever used. At least as far as sensitivity is concerned.

The Performance MX is fantastic, I'm still using mine at work. Sadly Logitech's small mice aren't as good! My Anywhere MX is laggy in comparison, and the build quality isn't nearly as good. :\

I would also like a low profile (like mobile-sized) mouse that doesn't suck :)

The adult beverage fairy left me a gift today. I had to go the ABC store to get it though, but it's the thought that counts.

Gah.. it appears we have very similar tastes in handguns. I love the XD's. And 1911's have always caught my eye, but i've never tried one. Next time I go to the range, I think I will.

I always stayed away from Glock as well, but wanted to try something i've never tried at the range and i've been looking for a carry gun to take with me on my bike. The G42 just kind of stood out.

The only bad thing about it is that .380 ammo is so expensive right now.

After I posted my response last night, I noticed you said you just got it that day. I hope you enjoy it. The only two things I found different about this gun are:

1. Like I said in my previous rambling, the bottom plate is super hard to get off the magazine. You either need a Glock tool or a long/relatively thin screw driver to get it off.

and

2. The slide release is almost impossible when the magazine isn't in. It gets a little bit easier, but not much once you put an empty mag in. Then when it's loaded, it's perfect. So if you ever try to release the slide while you have no magazine in, don't worry. I was worried that I got a defective gun.

And on that note, i'll post something else I purchased recently:

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for Xbox One

I love BL2 and I kept my PS3 solely to play The Pre-Sequel. When I found out that The Pre-Sequel will be coming out on Xbox One, I stopped playing it.

If you've never played Borderlands, really, they are some of the most fun games i've ever played in my life. And they have tons of replay value, so it's definitely worth new price of $60

Picked up two of these refurbished Logitech C920 webcams from Meritline for $50 each.... Giving to my kids for their Mac Mini's. Picked up a copy of Webcam Settings from the app store too..

gosh i want this mouse so much, I love all the features it packs in, especially that it has bluetooth, is rechargeable as well, just hesitant on spending $100 on a mouse...

I had the Logitech MX Revolution mouse back in 2007, it was probably the best gaming mouse I ever owned (granted it was the only one), it was awesome for the FPS that I was addicted to. Used the thumb buttons to be able to lean left or right.

The only thing I purchased here are the monitors, but it's the only pic I have of them for now.

Two Dell UltraSharp 2007WFP monitors. 1680x1050, paid $60 locally on Craigslist.

It arrives on Tuesday! I'll let you know if it's worth it!

Yes that would be great, i am really intrigued by the mouse and all the features it packs in, I just want to make it sure it's "really worth it" because I really need a new mouse that's bigger and has to be Bluetooth and don't like any of the offerings by Logitech now, just need that extra convincing and an actual review

I am an absolute doubter when it comes to either purchasing or pay to stream music, so after a few years actually buying albums, I switched again to streaming
