This thing is badass on so many levels. USB DAC capability makes the sound so clean for my laptop setup
Just ordered this for my wife.
Our plans are expensive ($75 for only 3GB), but we do get good carrier subsidies. The phone will cost us just AU$29 * 24 = AU$696, that's AU$533 off the retail price.

Do you know if you can buy unlocked in Australia? I ordered mine but will be there for holiday so I won't get mine till I come back

Yes, you can. Even this one, bought through Telstra, will be unlocked.
However, since you have to go with one of the carriers anyway you may as well let them subsidise it
Edit to add: I just noticed you're from overseas. You may want to check your exchange rate carefully, this model costs AU$1229 at an Apple Store. You may or may not get 10% GST back upon leaving Australia.

I am starting to think I can't go a week without buying some new Ti Lung movie (although at this point, I've almost burned through 3/4s of his filmography, I want more.)
and one out of print non English language tv series Ti Lung starred in from a sweet fan in France. I paid her for all the trouble she has to go through to get the series to me, but it's worth it. I may not know the details of what is going on in this show as I cannot read or speak Chinese, but the acting and visual cues let me understand the bare bones anyway.
