These are pretty nice lowball glasses. I use them for an Old Fashioned.

They’re not luxury crystal but they’re a nice weight, quality, and price. I haven’t had them long to speak about their durability. (The cleaning cloth is very unimpressive. Glass clothes are easy to find.)

Well wear.

I don’t like to drink out of crystal because too many drunk asses at my house including myself. I have a bunch of glassware with the name of my “home bar” on them. But I hardly use those. I prefer the 10oz yeti lowball. Keeps things cool in the warmer months and they are basically indestructible. :)

Indestructible...you’re playing my song.

I have solid crystal - Waterford, Lismore pattern - for my wine glasses, highball glasses (which I use for water), and for my standard whiskey tumblers, nice and sturdy, and solid, and blessedly heavy and balanced.

Actually, I love solidly constructed, elegant, and yes - almost indestructible - crystal.

Riedel is all very well but far too temperamental and diva-ish for my lifestyle and customary drinking habits (which have included the unfortunate chip as wine glass rim clips tap/faucet while attempting to wash up while still ever so slightly intoxicated). Thus, I wanted elegant, stylish, solid, and robust glassware.

One would hope! We used to get barrels of beer at work occasionally from a German supplier. But we don’t buy much from them these days.

Well, I doubt I have seen anyone (or any group of anyones) attempt to polish off a barrel of whiskey (or punch) since my student days.

Barrels of beer, that, too, is something I have not laid eyes on in a long time. (Yes, student days).

As for last purchases, cheese, anyone?

75" Samsung QLED Q9FN

Purchased it on a whim yesterday because the price was too good to pass up. I have a bright room with a large wall and that's the only reason i purchased QLED. Bought it from Abt Electronics and get it delivered in 2 weeks.

Ordered an open box Tamron 150-600 G2, with full manfacturer warranty, for a couple hundred dollars less than new for my D750. Just in case the lens may be off at certain distances, I also ordered the tap in console for it.

I was really trying not to buy this...but I love these two Franco Nero westerns and will probably get the digital versions too once they drop in price.

I guess I miss having those lobbies too (I had the actual set that these are reproductions of).

I’m disappointed how frequently the pencil needs charged. Also, I’m afraid it’s only a matter of time before losing the cap or adapter. So, I bought a second pencil to swap out when needed and this charging dock.

I would be very curious to hear what you think of that charger. I've thought about getting one for the pencil because I often want to draw while the iPad is charging.

I believe it has only a cable placed inside the dock and you need to use your own charger.
