My 2013 iMac keeps on ticking (Yay!) and since I couldn’t quite leave Mac for Windows yet for many reasons, so I just bought a 2017 MBA for the keyboard, the ports and to compliment my iMac by serving as a writing & blogging laptop.

I do not mind the screen and the keyboard is awesome!

Best Buy has the 128gb model on sale, but that’s not enough storage for me.

My daily driver for work. Does all I need it to.

4 socket expansion cards. Roughly $2,800 including tax. I'll probably be spending anywhere from $4,000 to 6,000 on the devices that connect to these. To go OEM or to go with retail box...

Nice. How was the assembly? Did you go with the dual monitors arm too? Did you upgrade your chair! Either way which chair are you using?

Springfield Arms XDS.

I like Springfield Arms and have the XDS too. It’s been in the safe for years untouched.

A set of these for my custom Precision...
I prefer these over the lightweight ones they fit these days.

Corkscrew? o_O

I don't know yet. It's due to arrive on Tuesday; I'll report back then. I did not go with the dual monitor arm. I just have one 27" curved monitor. My chair is some chair I bought from Amazon 5 or 6 years ago and I don't even know what brand it is. It's nothing special, but it suits me fine.

I’ve been frustrated with leaky hose reels so replaced them with this (by Ely). It’s pricy but they’re nicely built and the fittings seem solid. I assembled them yesterday with no swearing...so that’s a plus! No leaks....so far. Yay.

It looks great and love these style of desks...I have one by Evodesk. I’ve since read Varidesk is considered better. I have no complaints though.

Enjoy. Your space will look and feel great I bet! It’s exciting, huh?

I've had good luck with Neverleak's products. I bought the aircraft aluminum stuff after dealing with injection plastics for years. But I did have to replace about 4 hoses last week because they hardened up and cracked. I'd had them for at least a decade, I think.

Holy crap hose prices are really high nowadays. I bought good quality hoses and they were $30 each then. Made in the USA, didn't kink or warp under our summers. The new ones cost me nearly $100 each.

In honor of the new reels I thought to replace the hoses with 100’ Flexzilla but didn’t. The current ones are fine.

I lied. I just ordered one @100’. :(

I bought NeverKink contractor grade, 100'. Each hose was about $70. It's synthetic material. I can't imagine it costing these companies more than a few bucks to make each hose.

Teflon tape for the hoses. Thought I had some. I did. It'd fused together sometime in the last decade.

Feels like the summer before last. 20ish trips to the hardware store in a month. They knew me by name by then.

iPad Pro 11” and smart keyboard folio.
