Some people think it’s less noticeable if you are out in public places. So you attract less attention from thieves.

there's a lot of purchasing power in this thread. good on all of you. My latest purchase is a 10Watt Qi wireless charger for approx. $12 when reverse currency converting from danish kroner to $US 🤣 Humble beginnings I guess.

Btw.. it's not from Wish but from an actual store in the larger city of Aalborg - the shops are a chain called Normal. The charger hasn't set itself on fire yet and it charges quite nicely - although not as fast on my iPhone 8 as I thought when I read that it was a fast charger.

I guess people just posts the coolest stuff they got, even if it'll take 10 years to be fully paid, like cars... I haven't seen anybody posting their groceries, but I bet everyone buys them :D
 
I know I should have waited a few months but couldn't pass up this iPhone XS Max at only £550 for the 512GB model. If the iPhone 12 ends up being earth shatteringly amazing I'll sell it or trade it in but from the leaks there's nothing screaming out to me and an XS Max with the same storage as my laptop should last me a good while!

(Will post an actual photo when it arrives, hopefully tomorrow!)
