Dyson lightcycle morph... I was struggling to buy the first lightcycle lamp from dyson. But when I saw the 'morph'-version, i decided to get it. I find the design and functionality of the lamp just gorgeous!

  1. Threaded rod couplings
  2. D Shackles
  3. Wire rope thimbles
  4. Anchor shackles
  5. Wire rope ferrules
  6. A lifting sling
  7. A couple of double pulley blocks
  8. Eye bolts
  9. A thick-bottom sauce pot
Item 1 will be used in the installation of an infrequent-access raised storage area in the shed (i.e. high enough that it hangs from overhead beams)

Items 2 through 8 will (a) help with the installation of said storage area, (b) help with getting stuff up to said storage area and (c) provide a better solution to hang bananas when the plant inevitably collapses before the fruit is ripe, because the current "throw a rope over a beam" approach is kind of ghetto and a PITA.

Item 9 will be used to cook things.

Just bought an Erde 143 trailer, this is about as large and lightweight as I can go with the storage space I have, and to be able to 'upend' it to store in my garage...

I wish I had something like this. But I only really want it to take stuff to the rubbish tip and they don't accept trailers. My car needs a good clean inside every time I get back from dropping off garden waste.

Same here, trailers aren't allowed at the local tip unless you buy a licence. I bought the trailer for two reasons..

1) I had a LR Defender for the last 15 years which was brill for carrying stuff, but I sold it last year, and I don't want to be putting dirty stuff in my new car. I often collect horse manure for the garden etc.

2) I was about to pay £400 to get some external doors replaced as they have rotted, but a friend of a friend is now making them for free, if I supply the wood, and then collect the doors from him. So the £400 I have saved as gone towards the trailer, so now I can get the wood to him etc.

Storage is the only issue as I don't want it stored outside, which means reorganising ny garage and storing it upended.

Not really my purchase as I’ve been given it through work. Comparing this iPhone 11 to my personal iPhone 12 and for the life of me I can’t see any difference in performance. I do like that the 12 is smaller slightly though. All this stuff on here about must have OLED this and that and to be honest I’ve never been able to tell any difference. I have a feeling I will be going back to buying older phones when I upgrade next.

So true. I find I skip an extra generation more often than I used to. I was due to upgrade this September as my current phone is three years old, but at this point I’m thinking I’ll skip it.
