I'm interested in something like this.
Do you simply insert an SD card, or connect your phone, or wifi the images to it? Can you print images stored on a MacBook?
Also, what are the costs for paper ink etc?
Dye-sublimation? I had one about 20 years ago... awesome concept, but supplies were pricy and prints were small... still, great little gadget... wish I still had mine.
You can connect by Bluetooth, AirPrint, usb, WiFi, app, just about any way possible. It cost like $30 for 108 prints (includes the ink and paper)
Fuji XF 18mm F2. This lens retails for $600. Picked it up for under $200. I think I did ok

A rather nice (if somewhat prolonged) AS experience at Cumberland Mall in ATL. CS reps were awesome, as usual.
Also nabbed a Black/Summit White 45mm strap for my AW6 while I was there.

Had a real hard time with my Windows desktop crashing constantly and being generally unreliable, and that was the last straw. Finally went back to a Mac:
Spec is 16in M2 Max (12-CPU / 38-GPU) 64GB Ram / 2TB SSD. Its crazy how fast this thing is an how rock solid stable it has been, the only issue I foresee is compatibility, but I have been a Mac user for 15 years so should not be too bad.
Really looking forward to using this thing, and really hoping XIV on Mac works well

Hand made Persian (now Iran) carpet plus a new Apple studio Display for the home office.
LG C2 42" OLED w/ rotating mount. (Still have some wires to hide in the office, ignore the mess).
I would've never known about this TV if it weren't for people complaining about it on these forums 😂 -- found it on sale a couple weeks ago for $649 shipped, decided to see if it was worth all the grief. A little over a week in, the answer is most certainly yes: I'm officially in love and my wife should be jealous. Thankfully all the initial teething problems appear to have been sorted out. The color & picture quality make the Pro XDR & MBP's XDR displays feel dull, and put the Studio displays to shame entirely.
I've got a maze of HDMI & USB-C switchers mounted under the desk. As shown, with the press of a couple buttons, the C2 can be used:
- Natively (4k/120fps) from the M2 Max MBP, (the 38" ultrawide gets switched to DisplayLink @ 4k/30fps)
- Via DisplayLink (4k/30fps) from the M2 Max MBP, (38" ultrawide gets the native HDMI @ 4k/60fps)
- Natively (4k/120fps) from the 12900K/4090 Windows-based render box underneath it.
- Natively (4k/60fps) from any other device, as needed, (via a 25' spare cable hidden behind/under the cart)
(Side note if you're curious: The cart has enough slack in the cabling that it can be rolled over to the desk for actual multitasking.)
After a couple well-received demos & a half-dozen overachieving stand-ups, the vertical orientation has already proven its utility/value for standing presentations and displaying live meeting notes. The OLED shows up perfectly on webcam; it almost looks like an upper-quad graphic overlay.
My recommendation: Take a Macrumors break & go buy this TV.

Once you go oled you won't like anything else. I have got Oled TVs in my home and I used AW3423dW which is oled monitor and I love it.
As a tea and earl grey fan, I can't wait to try these. Had to order on eBay as not seen these anywhere near me.

Got my Hydro Flask in the mail today... with color matching sip, straw, and flex cap. Also bought some 64 Audio stickers since I love the awesome Custom IEM's I got earlier this year. My A12t's were pricey, but they sound great on stage, audiophile music listening... and gaming. I've had other brands custom IEM's made... but my 64 Audio definitely have the best fit... and the APEX module is a game changer.
Would you recommend as a monitor to pair with a MacBook pro? I am asking because it seems that you have it mounted away from your main set up unless I am mistaken.
I have been trying to find a good monitor to replace my older 25" Dell (it works fine but wanted to upgrade). I also want a good picture quality and I am worried the ppi would be too low for sharp image quality.
It seems people rave about it as a monitor except for professional photo/video people. Mine would just be for causal use.
I agree on the sit/stand desk. I'm full time remote... and sit/stand desks helps me get through those 8 hour and after work hour days. During our meetings, I look like I'm streaming in zoom meetings... LOL. I too like hiding my cables as much as possible... looks clean... and also easier to limit dust collection. I'm usually messy at the office... but since going remote... I work in a much cleaner work environment.
Lots of things purchased recently on these pics. Most recent is that mixer stand next to my bass guitar. So many parts parts purchased on Amazon and B&H. I just finished it a few weeks ago.
