Hmmmm add a MBP and a Springfield XD-40..

If I owned one, I'm sure I would LOVE my XD. And if I shot over 4,000 rounds without a single FTF or jam - I would love it even more. ;)

Edit: Wait - are a schizophrenic or something? How can someone like firearms AND Apple? Isn't that an oxymoron?

Very nice XD... I'm on the cusp of either getting one of those or a Glock 26... decisions, decisions! Any advice?

Pick up both @ the store. Remove the slide, and look inside.

If you're not going for the XD after seeing with your own eyes - then you're a lost cause. ;)

I did, and it just felt a bit heavier and blockier than the 26. The trigger-pull felt off, too. I don't know, maybe I need to see if I can shoot both at the range first...

Trigger pull feels weird - if you're not used to striker pins. (if you're more accustomed to "hammers")

That trigger safety throws you off at first too.

It's a good solid unit, the extra weight is meat - and in my opinion, meat in places where it counts.

The Glock felt like a toy by comparison. Then again, I'm not a gun owner / gun person.

I got new headphones the day before yesterday....my sennheiser hd-200 broke, and I been wanting to get smaller ones for a long time. So I got the PX 100, I wanted some that looked closer to 80's style walkman headphones.

I looooove them :D althought I had to get used to not having my ears shielded in the way the old ones did.

seven dollars worth
got me a little over 2 gallons of premium
yay...

If I went to my nearest BP right now and spent seven US dollars on premium unleaded petrol I'd get half a US gallon or thereabouts. I think you got a good deal.

I thought I would be the only one posting up some headphones. Waiting anxiously for them to arive!

A bottle of Dasani. It's $@#% water, but it's the only thing they have available at the cafeteria at work.

I sold my Clock 22 to buy the Springfield. The XD in 45 ACP is a formidable handgun, much more "bang for the buck" than the Glock. I like the availablity of 45 ACP ammo versus 40 S&W also, cheaper to shoot the number of rounds to be truly proficient, and a proficient shooter is a safer shooter.

Went out to buy a small Moleskine, figured I would also stop by Second cup and grab a medium french vanilla with a chocolate muffin.

Clearly you're not talking about the M16A2! ;)

And that's not an oxymoron at all....
