People should realise that the keyboards that come on UK Macs are NOT the same as normal non-Mac UK keyboards. I have no idea what Apple were thinking really; they should've either given us a proper UK keyboard or given us a US keyboard, not some bastardised creation between the two. And because the keyboard on a MacBook isn't user repalceable I can't change it :(

Oh & yes, it blows for coding.

  • iMac-base model
  • HP C4280-it was FREE!
  • VMWare Fusion-haven't used a Mac in years, so I have many windows programs. This will ease the transition :p
  • Apple Care
  • USB Printer Cable
I will be getting a Logitech MX Revolution and 4 gigs of RAM within the month of March. Time Capsule will come in April for a b-day present to myself. I will admit though, it is kind of frustrating not being able to navigate as quickly through Leopard as easily as it was for me with XP. But this is expected since I've been a PC user for the last 9 yrs and I should be familiar with Leopard within the next 2 weeks; it's all part of the transitioning period I guess. All in all I am very happy with my purchase.

A few minutes after release I bought the 2.4GHZ Penryn Macbook PRO and now approx 1 hour ago I bought the 32gb iPod Touch. They will make a great couple. Both with multi-touch etc. :)

May I ask you why you bought those, if you already have an awesome system (Logitech Z-5500)?

I got the Harman Kardon SS II for my table where I have my MBP set up.
I have always craved for these speakers since they descended on earth ;)
The Logitech Z-5500 is for my home theater to give that amazing performance when playing HD-DVD's.
I also have the Logitech Wireless Transmitter Receiver set coupled with the Z-5500 so that I can stream music from any device (iPhone, iPod or any of my 3 laptops).

People call it G.A.S - Gadget Acquisition Syndrome. LOL

Yay!Its coming tommorw in the mail[REMOVED]

Whats the round thing with a wire and the Apple logo on it ?

where can i get one of these?

That's the griffin elevator. Google "Griffin Elevator" and you can decide where to buy it from. I remember Rain Design has an elevator too.

I just received my new Sorapot from Joey Roth. It is 1 of 300 made, and has been featured in Forbes magazine for best new design. Check him out:

Exquisite !! I love glass/metal combinations !

I don't think I could live without my new 2GB USB jump drive. Between my jobs, home, and friends computers, it's the easiest way to transport any files. It just hangs out on my keychain.
