Just bought two gigs of RAM at Crucial.com for my mini, And a putty knife to open it.

Wish me luck.

Good luck, it's pretty easy just take your time. Make sure you grind the end of the putty knife down really thin, there isn't much space to get into the case, and don't get annoyed with it, you'll just end up breaking the case.

Aside from that, job sorted. ;)

The most expensive thing posted so far I imagine.

Seriously. My wife and I closed on it today and we haven't purchased anything since ... well expect for the celebration dinner. I doubt you'll want me to up chuck that and show it to you though.

Congratulations!! That's a big moment...we're sort of starting to poke around at houses but we can't buy until she's done with veterinary school next year.

Good luck, but that isn't a real putty knife, it's a filling knife or a scraper, which for some unknown reason Americans think is for applying putty. This is a proper putty knife:

The curved edge is much more Mini-friendly.

Music! sound cancelling and good quality headphones + .FLACs FTW!

I own these headphones along with the Bose QC2s...the Sony's are pure sh*t compared to the Bose and I paid the same price for both. The Sony's are stiff, and ridiculously heavy on the head. They get extremely uncomfortable after short use, and the sound quality is pretty crappy for the price. These headphones also are not sound cancelling. Not at all.

I bought the Bose after getting the Sony's, I really wish I had returned the Sony's. They just sit in my nightstand not getting any use.

If you ordered online, cancel now and go with the Bose. If not, I'm sorry.

Not worth the money.

Nice headphones. Not sure what you'll use them for but they look pretty sweet.

Your right, there is not too much utility in having them. I'm going to use them to block out noise from all the other people in the club room. As an added bonus i can listen to music without having to sacrifice quality. :)

Diesel! $3.99!

Good thing I actually work for Chevron. (The Oil Company, not the gas station. :p)

This must be in Cali.
How about shipping and all those cargo ships and all stop using gasoline, where the major companies can afford to change, and let the consumer have a break.

Not really a purchase, I traded my iPhone rip off thing for a Nokia 6500 slide

And bought myself a Cut-a-way acoustic, it's made in china crap but it'll do for recording.

I've listened to the MDR V700s & whilst they're not great for general listening (they're better for DJ monitoring, like they are designed for) I extremely doubt that anything from Bose for the same price will sound better (considering the Sony's can be had for £40). For the price, I probably would've gone with a pair of Sennheiser HD485.
