And... here is my replacement keyboard. Macally Large Print Backlit USB Keyboard. (7 different color options)
Redid my Office setup for 2020. Got the new 2020 Mac mini (still 2018 but whatever) with i5, 512GB SSD & 32GB RAM. It's hooked to the LG Ultrafine 4K. And of course the space gray Keyboard & Trackpad from Apple. Then I of course use my iPad Pro 10.5 with the Apple Trackpad (white) also and a lot of use with sidecar. Bose bluetooth speaker, Echo Show 10 inch & an Anker wireless charger. I like having minimal setups. And the little light under the monitor is the Echo Glow. It's the perfect light for at night when you don't want to the big lamp behind the monitor on. Or for relaxing I just put it in campfire mode.

How do the HomePods sound together in stereo? I’ve been thinking of doing that too.

What model monitor is that?
They are great! They tend to sound better at a distance, where you can take in a more profound stereo sound, however at the desk there’s still a noticeable improvement over mono.

This is mine at present...... when I get settled somewhere again, hopefully soon, I'll get hold of the required peripherals and set it up again. Being an early 2009 model I might be tempted by an new model, especially if a better value model, more appropriately specced for my modest requirements arrives in an updated line-up. The current Mac Mini line-up is too pro in specs and price from my point of view.

That’s 1440p, right? Do you find text and UI too small? Do you run it at native resolution or scaled (assuming that’s an option).
Yup, no issues with size at all.
I’m not a dev etc, just work at the Mac (I recruit into the digital market (web developers, designers, digital marketers etc), so just use the net (Chrome) and the MS package
Hopefully will be set up someday.
Jk it will eventually, because I need it for certain things. But I’m not too excited to set it up because it’s such a painfully slow machine. Always has been for some reason, even when it was new in 2015, even though it’s mid specced, and even though I only do run-of-the-mill tasks on it. Maybe I got a lemon.
That is too bad Apple doesn’t offer a really cheap Mac anymore for people like us with modest needs. I basically just use it as a file/media hub, and for library management and time machine.
Just don't lose that awesome keyboard. I don't think Logitech makes it anymore and they haven't replaced it with anything similar.
love the dual HomePod setup behind each iPad as well. Very resourceful setup ... curious how Siri acts with both HomePod’s?

Thanks. I’m actually thinking of moving the mini to under the desk since I already have a mount it! brand mount for the mini drilled under there for a cleaner look.
As far as Siri, when I say Hey Siri, all four products initiate Siri at first; both HomePods and both iPad Pros. However, both iPads soon disengage and so does the HomePod farthest from my voice, leaving only the closest HomePod’s Siri and mic active to listen to me. As they are paired as stereo, both HomePods answer me.
When I ask Siri a question that is usually answered by Siri running a google search, the results show up on either my phone if I’m on it or the iPad that is running Luna Display, not the one on Sidecar.
I head some people do not get their Siri results on the devices when using HomePod’s Siri, but I don’t have that problem.
Yes, K811 is the perfect keyboard! K380 seems functionally the same but looks and probably feels a lot cheaper. And it has round keys which I’m not sure if that’s better or worse. K780 could be a good replacement if one wants the number pad. And that also has round keys. Why do companies always mess with a good thing?
Desk is finally done. I finally got the Satechi mouse and the OWC Envoy Pro EX 2TB and Mercury Elite Pro Dual w/2 512GB SSD's (under the desk).
2018 i5 with 32GB memory, Aorus Gaming Box egpu enclosure with an RX570 4GB itx, 43" Acer DM431K monitor
