What do you use the 9 inch screen for? I've never seen a USB monitor before.

I code a lot so I put my terminal over there for debugging. When I'm designing in PS or AI, I throw my tools over there. When I'm not doing anything productive, iTunes, iChat, and Syrinx (Twitter app) sit over there.

Check out Amazon or DoubleSight if you're interested in one.

Thanks for the info. I can see that being really useful for exactly the things you mentioned. I'll look into it some more.

niceeee...is that a portable HDD you have there under the Mac? What brand? Thanks

What kind of shelving is this? I am looking for something very similar to go above my monitors. How much do you think it can hold? I am also looking for one to hold my photography gear.

Thanks!
Dave

That phone on your desk.

Thats we use at work. We have 6 in our office they're pretty good actually!

That Cisco 7960 is hooked up to work so I get my phone extension from work at home. I did have an asterisk server up and running a couple of these 7960's at home, but after realizing the family doesn't use the landline (<20 calls a month) I killed that server and dropped the landline. Now we just use a bluetooth adapter to call from traditional phones across to our iPhone's so we arent stuck having to take long calls on the iPhone handset.

What sort of adapter do you use i have been looking but cant seem to find anything in the uk

I'm not the original author but per his original post it is VPN'd to his office. Like most telecommuters with this type of setup it is most likely a hardware VPN.

Drew, what's that flying saucer looking thing between your monitors?
Ink well for my quill! lol just kidding.

Paper clip holder! I got the whole set (that, stapler, & business card holder) for $3 @ officemax lol I love how they are very modern.

That's a really nice looking setup!

Where did you get those 20" ACDs?

Thank you :)
BestBuy Clearance back in October. Full year of Applecare with chance to extend. Nothing like buying two year old products new in box :D
