PowerMac G5 DP 2GBz, 2.5GB DDR, ATI 9600 Pro, WD 1.5TB 32MB, SuperDrive, 20" Cinema Display, LG 19" , iSight, Apple Aluminum keyboard, Apple Mighty Mouse, Klipsch MediaPro 4.1

nice setup, i still totally dig those old ACD's... they are still awesome displays... :D

auero: Is that a 15" or 17" MBP? And what camera do you use? Really nice setup. :)

15" but I think I'll be getting a 17" to replace it very very soon. That was taken with a D300 and a Sigma 10-20mm lens. thanks!

auero is that a ACD screen and nice room

Thank you! It's actually a HP w2408h. I got it about a year ago (refurb) and they tried to rebrand it by covering the back panels HP logo which of course I took off ;) I got it for a steal, its a 24" and only cost me roughly $150

Sloppy with all the wires because I didnt have time to hide them for the picture but this is the most recent with my screen hung up.

Still need a picture over my bed.

Very impressive!

I'm jealous

What TV/monitor is that? I love how the bezel echoes the bezel of the MBP. :D

Judging by the connector on the left side of the screen, no. But is is a nice screen, I wonder what brand it is.

Your answer lies a few posts above. :)

does anyone have a list of a couple of nice speakers to connect to a macbook, i see lots of cool ones, but most dont list the make. i'm also looking for a good usb hub, thanks :)

This is my first Apple desk top set-up I'm real happy with it, I had a MAcBook Core 2 Duo before.

Nice for first setup.. when did ya get the G5 then?
You can pick them up for quite an amazing price now, because people are getting rid so they can move on to snow leo- but still the G5's are very powerful machines for the current prices. :)

okay after doing some searching, i thought i had finally settled on a beautiful pair just in budget, the Swan M10s, they look great and have great reviews but the problem is i can't find anywhere to buy them. anyone have a site or knows a place they are available for sale?

There are actually two desks in the above images. My current desk with the mini and 24" LED is an IKEA Gallant desk in beech:
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S29806818

The other desk is the same size and nearly the same color but it's a discontinued IKEA desk, the Jerker also in beech.

You mean birch? Thats what your link goes to and judging by the IKEA website, it looks more like birch then it does beech???

Thanks

auero, your set up is perfect, as is your room. The monitor looks amazing on the wall at desk level. It's a shame it is no longer available. From what I gather, you got it at a steal of a price. Very cool.

Love the Man on the Moon poster in the top right.

Thanks I got it when I met him :)

That's Kid Cudi's album cover.

Not really a fan of that album though but the artwork's great.

What! I thought the album was great! Well the mixtape may have been a little better but the poster is actually promo stuff they gave out when I met him. The album cover is actually this...

Nice.

I like the desk setup. Very appropriate display to go with the MBP, and it looks awesome mounted.

The room, although nice, is a bit impersonal for me, though. Looks like a guest room.

EDIT: Might as well post an update of my setup. Specs as follows:

15" uMBP, 2.66 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD
14" iBook G4, 1.33 GHz, 768 MB RAM, 60 GB HDD
