Nice.

I like the desk setup. Very appropriate display to go with the MBP, and it looks awesome mounted.

The room, although nice, is a bit impersonal for me, though. Looks like a guest room.

EDIT: Might as well post an update of my setup. Specs as follows:

15" uMBP, 2.66 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD
14" iBook G4, 1.33 GHz, 768 MB RAM, 60 GB HDD

Very nice! Question: is that a (black) cover on your Apple wireless keyboard or did you mod it using keys from the new macbooks? If it's a cover, do you mind sharing where you got it from? :)

Still need a picture over my bed.

Or a mirror :) I'm not trying to imply anything, but they are kinda fun . Its less creepy if you tile it into a pattern or something... however the creepiness factor increases with age.

Jealous of the set up btw.

@auero,

That is the best bedroom setup I've ever seen! That is the wonder bachelor pad! Thank you for sharing. For the ceiling ... might I suggest something similar to those Ikea wavy mirror panels, use them in a staggard formation.

Thanks I got it when I met him :)

What! I thought the album was great! Well the mixtape may have been a little better but the poster is actually promo stuff they gave out when I met him. The album cover is actually this...

snip

Any chance you're from Cleveland? I've met him a couple of times, before he got signed with Kayne and had all of his success. He's a pretty nice guy actually.

Uh, to me, still needing "a picture over my bed" doesn't mean the ceiling. lol

Yeah.. and the fact they aren't using <timg> tags for the images they quote.

The fact that they're quoting images at all.

Speaking of monitor stands, just curious did you make yours, or is it part of the desk? Those look like IKEA steel legs, but fits perfectly with your desk.

A re-utilization, really. It's the middle shelf from this tv stand at Ikea. Didn't need the shelf on the stand, but it turned out being perfect for my desk that I got months later, hah.

They do make a similar stand-alone shelf, though, it looks like.

Thanks!

Thanks. It is indeed a cover. I got it from amazon, and it is the iSkin ProTouch Keyboard cover.

Decided to give it a shot - ordered it from Amazon last night via 2-day shipping, so hopefully it's here by the week's end.

Should go great with the "blacked-out" look I'm trying to create: I have a 2009 uMBP with mStand connected to the 24" Apple cinema display with wireless BT keyboard and magic mouse (plus new aluminum remote)...I also have a WD MyBook in black and a black iphone on an xStand. I have the large black Razor Destructor mouse pad that completely consumes my desk as well!

After setting up my new JBL Creature III speakers and installing the ProTouch keyboard cover, the only peripheral that will be left traditionally white will be my magic mouse...until I find a way to fix that :D

@~lonelycake just the whitebook before the unibodys came out, hopefully after xmas with the sales going on, the family might decide to redo the kitchen at another house, (since we have a mother that is stubborn about her kitchen and wont move until it's up to her standards), and we'll move there, ensuring me to have a bigger room :D

Awesome lol :D My room has a medium sized floor plan but is in a ridiculously steep loft conversion... so i have very little head or flat wall space but oh well... im working on moving into another room :)

Sweet setup!
I hope to get the new Apple Remote soon and eventually the Magic Mouse. I'd love one of those Razor mouse pads, too. I'm trying not to give in to the display; I would get more use out of a DSLR, so that would come first for me(long way off). How are the Creature III's? I always loved my Creature II's that I have elsewhere in the apt.

I think you'll like the look of the black iSkin. Even though the sides of the keys aren't black, it still looks really nice.

I like the new look in Macs, but sometimes I do miss all the white. I wish I had a space to have another desk setup where I'd put my iBook G4 and all white peripherals. My Creature II's are from that setup; they're white. I still have the old white Pro keyboard somewhere, too, and white HP All-in-one.

This is my new set up. I need to find a way to manage all the wires and cords. I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm sure my desk won't stay this clean for long. At least now I have a picture to remember how clean it looked. :)

Simple set up, MBP is my main computer and the iMac G4 is the "media" computer connected to surround sound system. The macbook usually just sits there unused :(

emac is now my guest computer in the extra room...
