AWESOME. So clean, and I love the desk.

This is my home setup. iMac 2.4 ghz core 2 duo 4 GB running Snow Leopard
Iomega (Silver) Hard drive backing up my Seagate (Black) storage drive as well as my iMacs HDD. Desk (Ikea) with some random organization stuff on it. The clock is actually hand made by my grandfather with stones from his childhood, its awesome. Weird coyote trinket is also hanging out on my desk.
Missing: Harmon Kardon Speakers, lent them to the girlfriend for a party (In retrospect, probably not the best decision )

Everything looks clean, then I notice your icons on the desktop and my OCD kicks in. Arrange them. I like the wallpaper by the way.

Just curious, why you put the MBP upside down? Doesn't it look better if you put it upward on the Bookarc?
I believe that's how you're suppose to put the MBP into the Bookarc due to how the MBP disperses heat.

I meant you can just flip over your MBP and access your Superdrive and still hide your cables right? Just so your Apple logo is in the correct position. Just IMO though.:)

yes, but it would be facing the other side and I like to see the logo :)

I agree, IMHO. He'd have to put it on the left side of his display versus the right but it would accomplish the same things as well as putting the Apple right side up.

Well I think I finally got my setup squared away. Mac mini is hooked up to the display on the wall. And the macbook pro and cinema display are together.

It seems like every 2 years I do a big change. I started with a simple wood desk and PPC imac. Then I got a corner desk from LLBean which currently holds my Macbook Pro in my bedroom. Then I got a desk from Ikea for my MacPro and this year I purchased a freestanding desk from the Container Store that is part of their modular system that people use in closets. I have not had the time to sort through all my stuff but I now have both desk 'sort of' together till I decide what to do. Yes I know it's a lot of clutter but I love this small bedroom. On the other wall is a twin daybed.

Below is my current. On 869 was an old set up.

Awesome setup man. But I have to know, what are you using the 2 servers for, other than the obvious - what is your implementation. Why 2 servers? Have you got them linked together? If so do they communicate well? In other words can u set it up as if it is one large server or do you have to run each individually?

Great look man, I love it.

You most certainly could link them together, you can probably do that with every computer in existance ;)

The only thing i use them together with is when i am using them as a rendering (or encoding) cluster with FCP/Compressor, i basically use every computer i own to make a cluster!

But generally:

Server1
Adress Book
FTP
iCal Server
Mail
MySQL
Open Directory
Print Server
Push Notification
Media sharing
Web (webserver for my own development, offline)
and some other generall stuff

Server3
FTP
MySQL
Mail
Web (i host my own small projects and family and friends pages, every site i host i pretty inactive ;) )

This is mostly made for experimental purpose, will be doing alot more stuff in the future i hope
